I have this set and I love it! I'd like to add that the Cadmium Yellow in this set (PY35) and Cadmium Red Light (PR108) are not a hue and contains real cadmium. Make sure to not drink the paint water and don't put your fingers near your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing them! Most Paul Rubens paints that say cadmium have actual cadmium and it's toxic if ingested.
Hello! I also bought this set recently and I have taken the Cadnium and well as the cobalt colors out of the set. I've been trying to find more information about the Naples Yellow in particular because I know that some manufacturers would use lead to aid in the pigment composition of the paint but I am unsure if this set does it as well.
I am SO happy to see you dabble with Watercolors. I have stepped back from colored pencils to concentrate on watercolor… and now, I see you popped on my the algorithm! If you get into watercolors, count me in!
I believe the swatch card Paul Rubens include with the set of watercolors 5th generation is on their glitter paper. I had to buy both also! Loving the paints and the paper! Thanks for the review!

The glitter paper is amazing! I love the hot press and the normal size one. The little ones are good for card making. Paul Rubens watercolors are so good. I love their botanical set which are available again for us here in the US.
This sparkle paper is amazing. It was one of my first cotton WC papers. One thing I’d love Paul Ruben’s to do with it is offer it in a glued block. Then it would go from amazing to perfect!
