I'm a Portlander, so it was cool seeing what a tourist thinks of the city! When the ticket machine didn't work, I thought "That's Portland for ya." Haha
I know right?
The vegan chocolate is a nice gesture from the host. I heard Portland is a really great city. I'm sure it wasn't that hard to find vegan options either. :)
This is the first vlog of yours that I'm seeing and I want to say, it's so peaceful lol. Makes me feel very calm :)

***** Frisco is San Fransisco's nickname. You said in you video you were there so I was wondering if you filmed some of your (vegan) adventures in that city. Or maybe you just landed there and directly went to Portland ?
Wow, I don't use trains often here in the US, but what kind of service is that, lol? Often 2 hours late, they told you? Cannot say I've ever heard of that barring some extreme winter weather or some disaster. Glad you didn't have to wait that long. And your couchette not ready, not made up? Unimpressive of Amtrak, I feel quite apologetic for all that and admire your graciousness. But hopefully you enjoyed Portland as it's got a lot to offer.
I live in Los Angeles and have never been as far north as portland but plan to visit this summer! Looks beautiful!

私が今日本語を勉強してますが、英語が本当に難しいとわかります。英語のビデオとか、英語を喋る人と話した方がいいです。旅行もしたら、たくさん習うよ！ポ-トランドでただ皆んなが優しいので、多分英語のために簡単に手伝いをもらえると思います。私の日本語がまだ完璧じゃないので、ごめんなさい！！
