something to point out for anyone looking to do this is that there should be some type of back pressure chamber before the muffler to keep it from burning up valve seats. that slightly higher pitched popping is a timing issue created by the vacuum forces on the valves being outta whack

The thing is, if you put exhaust that is literally bigger than your engine volume and its end tube is wider than the tube youre connecting the exhaust to, you might aswell just ride without exhaust and get the same sound...
Tango965 i own 2 choppers, some guys cut the baffling out of their stock pipes to make them louder but it kills their power with the loss in backpressure and they have to weld a 'lollipop' in place to get some back.

Tango965 bigger is only better if it's an appropriate fit for the amount of displacement up top. performance exhaust setups usually nake a bit or research, OR IF YOU HAVE LOTS OF CASH ON HAND trial and error. if you got a new exhaust tip for free anyway, you're not out the cash...cheap lessons are the best kind

so is this possible for a 150cc bike? i have a similar muffler for my bmw im not using so i was thinking of doing this same thing.
