I am in tears my 33 year old daughter with juvenile diabetes and wanting a child of her own and willing to give her life to make it happen after escaping death so many times. and my 19 year old granddaughter who just will not listen.
This song has so much meaning to every parent out there. "I would try to shield your innocence from time". "I could never cry your tears". This is a song from the heart and it applies to anyone who has ever raised a child. At 62 years old, I still cry when listening to these words. What an amazing dedication to being a parent!
So much meaning for every 'old school' grandparent who is praying for grandchildren and "I would try to shield your innocence from time" "I could never cry your tears".
My mother passed away, February 14, 2018. This song always made me think of my mother. Now that she is gone, I Love this song even more. Please keep me in your prayers.!
I cry uncontrollably everytime I hear it! I Adore my son (25) but I literally Pray for his Safety EVERYDAY and EVERYTIME he leaves the house. I sometimes cry myself into a Migraine until he gets to his destination! I Pray for a safer World.. Father God🙏🏾
Back in 1999, my father spent months trying to pick the PERFECT song for our father-daughter wedding dance. Mere HOURS before we left for the church, he finally came to me with a smile, saying “I got it!” like it had been in the back of his mind all along and was just that simple. Even though a guy was singing (and his version had come first) , as soon as I heard those first three words, I just held up a hand and tried not to mess up my makeup! What he didn’t realize was that back in college, I had heard THIS version and always thought it’d be the one I’d choose for MY child when they got married. I had forgotten all about it until that VERY PERFECT moment. Like father, like daughter! 🥹🥰
I’m so thankful for my Son and Daughter that God bless me with My Babies.. Relly and Tamara and my beautiful grandchildren.. Cam, D.J. Amir, Nasir, Sa’di and my great grandkids. Riley my Ginger Snap and Aubrey Abu Dhabi give me my eyes back what a Wonderful Blessing, I’m so grateful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All three of my children is going through something so this song came to mind so I looked it up played it then send it to each of them so they know how I feel because sometimes words can't express how you feel or sometimes your children just need to know your here for them, you might can't take away what they're going through but just them knowing you understand and love them through whatever they're going through so as I write this comment and cry they say God understand crying better than any prayers, so I'm hoping he see my tears and there's too so he can help us in our time of trials.
You’re a Year Older than Me! I’m a ‘99 Baby. 90s isn’t My Favorite. More like the 70s & 80s. But the 90s does have some Goodies. And this is One of them.
When I was deep in my addiction the man I was with, who brought me into my addiction, had a visit from his mother. She dropped off a portable tape player & a cassette tape. She made a note on it to listen to a certain track and when he brought it in he just gave it to me and said here. I looked at it and wasn't familiar with Regina Belle. I put the headphones on & went to the track & started to listen. I had to take them off & stop the tape. It was too much for me to bear that this guy that got me so tangled up in his world of drugs had a mother that loved him very much. That was my introduction to this artist & this song. Crazy right? Everyone has a Mom that loves them...everyone.

🙋🏽♀️Same here, 2 girls 1 boy. My oldest daughter just turned 21 this month and next month she's is moving to another city with her 20 year old boyfriend who she's only known a little over one year. I'm so scared and worried for her but what can I do? 🤷🏽♀️😩😪💔 The more you try to prove to them that something isn't right, the more they pull towards it. 😔🤦🏽♀️ Sometimes I just tear up when I think about her leaving. I wish she could just see all the red flags in that relationship. This guy didn't even want her to finish college!! She's in culinary school and she's suppressed to be going one more year to get the highest degree which is Doctoral but she's gonna finish this semester in March and move in with him and his mom until they can get a place. 😑🤨 So she's put all this time into school only to end up staying with a bum of a boyfriend who lives with his mom in her roach infested house that's so infested she's having to move because she can't get rid of them all?!?😵🤮 My daughter has lead a very sheltered life to the point that she didn't even have to work as a teen, she just chose to. She hasn't even got her driver's license yet and neither has he!!!! The car my mom bought her was for her to practice in and get her license so she could drive herself to class but now that she's not getting her doctoral and decided to move with him, my mom's gonna sale the car. Anyone reading this PLEASE just pray with me that she doesn't get pregnant and that she still goes after her career of being a chef. 🙏🏽👩🏽🍳😊 Her name is Megan (I call her chef MeMe🥰) Sorry this was so long, I guess I needed to vent that. 😌 Best of luck to anyone reading this that may be going through anything similar. 🙏🏽💗
This song makes me cry everytime i hear it. I dedicate this to my son cause Lord knows "If I could" I would protect him from this mean world. I love my son so much!
Love your son my sister but don't over mother him. That way he won't grow up soft and helpless. Not saying you in particular but many Black mothers tend to over mother their boys.
willieb20052001 so true I have only seen comments from women and you are the only man who has commented well done for speaking on behalf of the male population. Also there are two other versions of this song Barbra striesand and Celine Dion Check them out.
Love this song so much! Had my son at 19 years old. He is way past 40 now! We were alone, his father left us. He didn't want anything to do with us. But we made it. I was a waitress hardly made $100.00 a week, but we loved and held on to each other. Back then you were looked down on for being pregnant and not married. My relatives, doctor and even the hospital when he was born, tried to make me give him up, they all said children like this need a good home. They said that I could never take care of him. But there is no way I would have ever lived with myself had I listened to those judgemental hateful people. This was my song then and still is today. I think it's the most beautiful song to your child ever written! There's no way you can listen to it and not cry for you and your child. And feel proud of the true love you have for each other. A bond that will never die. 🎵🎶❤❤❤🎶🎵
My daughter is 13, I made a playlist of about a dozen songs for her after she was born and I must add this to it. I’m not ashamed that this song brings me to tears...
@Crystal Hicks I just sent this song to my kids wishing my mom was still here..Its gonna b hard but you will make it... I took me some but I've made it with the help of my kids.. Bless U & Stay Strong... It will b OK..
I got chills When she said, " My yesterday, won't have to beeeeeeee yooooooooooooour waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay" Sheesh! That's a singing woman.
When I first heard this song all I could do is cry I cry for my oldest son because it's life its life needs to be changed and always said if I could do it I would do it for him to give him some kind of happiness he's in his forties today any still going through hard times if I could I would this song is for all parents that their children or grandchildren are going through something that if they could change it they would GOD bless you
Sitting here crying. I wasn't taught how to be a father. Now a father of three girls ,19,18,17 and two boys 18, and 15. And a guardian of my niece who's 8. I am having issues with my 18 year son who thinks he has the world figured out. We butt heads and he hasn't spoken to me in 5months ( he moved back with his mom). It hurts as a dad who loves his child but I know God is good. This song is so appropriate right now.
I don't have children but I have a baby sister and I dedicate this to her. She's been going through a hard time since we lost our mom. I would seriously go through her pain for her if I could. She's finding her way and I hurt when she hurts more than she knows. That's my baby now. I hope she knows big sister has her always.
There's nothing like a parent's love for their children. I'm praying for better days for me and my children and you and your children. Better days come on. February 1, 2022
I first heard this song when I was pregnant of my son at the age of 15 in 1993. He has grown to be an honorable man and is getting married in May. As he was growing up, I played this song for him time and time and again and I would hold him tight as I sang along. We will be dancing to this song for our mother / son dance at his wedding. I was never able to to keep the tears from falling whenever I heard this song, so i know im going to need someone next to me with a box of tissues in hand.
Yes that’s true thanks for watching and promise to bring more laughter to your screen and also pass in some knowledge here is my email address you can text me there for more convo ramseynouah258@gmail.com
I danced with my son at his wedding to this song. He is my Prince who Achieved so much. Now I ache for his voice, his hug. He is with God. How I ache for you Rob. Momma
My First Time Really Hearing This Amazing Song Of Encouragement! The Kids Of Today In 2024 Is In Need Of This Message! This Song Needs To Be Put Back Into The Atmosphere! I Most Definitely Will Be Sending This Song To Others. Especially My Adorable Niece. WOW! It More Than A Song! 🎶 It's Letting Someone Know! If I Could Help You, And Be There For You..... I Would! 😭 I Dedicate This Song To Every Child, That Has Ever Had To Endure Any Type Of Abuse!!! 😭 Thank You, Ms. Regina Belle.🌺💎🌹🙏
This is a song for every mother in the world, who in most cases, feels this way about each and every one of her children. This is not a knock on fathers, but we're talking something that is part of holding a child in your body for a time.
What a beautiful song and such a perfect description of my mother. It's been eight months, and her passing (even after a 6-year sickbed) has deeply scarred her 3 sons. If you - reading this now - know yourself to be a caring mother, I have this to tell you: Never underestimate your value in your children's lives. To them, home isn't a place, "home" is wherever YOU are.
Hang in there. My mom always said 'Life goes on with or without us'. And it definitely does. My mom died June 29 2014. And I'm still here. You don't get 'over it', but you learn how to adjust to life without your mother, and you keep living. 🔱 🗽
I cry every time this song is played. ❤ It took me ten years to conceive my son. I've always felt like I had a special promise to keep to God for letting me have him.
My mom just send me this song thinking nothing of it and I ended up crying. With this song I realized that less than in month I'm going to leave for college and it's gonna be me and God at that point and my parents won't be there. I love you momma ❤
If I could I'd protect you From the sadness In your eyes Give you courage In a world Of compromise Yes, I would If I could I would teach you All the things I've never learned And I'd help you Cross the bridges That I've burned Yes, I would [Chorus:] If I could I would try to shield Your innocence From time But the part of life I gave you isn't mine I'll watch you grow So I can let you go If I could I would help you Make it through The hungry years But I know That I can never Cry your tears, babe But I would if I could If I could In a time And place Where you Don't wanna be You don't have To walk along This road with me My yesterday Won't have to be Your way If I knew I'd try To change the world I brought you to Now there Isn't much more What I can do But I would If I could [Chorus] If I could
Whitney Jackson Thank you so much sweetie, you just blessed my day with the lyrics of this beautiful masterpiece, by the lovely Regina Belle my daughter is blessing me with my first grandbabies twin girls in less then six weeks, and I emailed her this song.
Whitney, thank you for putting out these lyrics. This song represents my heart to my daughter. One never knows the love in a mother's heart until they have that child and watch him or her grow up. But my daughter will always be my heart, my child. If I could change the work for her, I would...
I have a 9 year old grandson and if I could keep him from everything that is going on in the world now I would praying that God cover him and be there for him every step alone the way
I cry to this day when I hear this song. raising my three daughters back in the days were so hard. But memories of singing this song to them gave me strength. Tomorrow will be a better day
Our mother passed in July 2020 of dementia, she was 79, she buried 3 sons and a husband. My sister, myself and 1 grandson, and great grandson are all that's left. She endured a lot and she is greatly missed. Our sympathy to the wahlberg family.
I danced this song with my son at his wedding...I cried from beginning to end. In one song Regina was able to capture te wishes of every mother/grandmother in this world. Thank you Regina
I’m from Detroit Michigan, but I’m currently living in another state. I was informed that an arcade I used to play at as a child was shot up with families inside... I instantly started crying because the kids just wanted to have fun, but couldn’t due to ignorance.. I came here to listen to this song for comfort.. I wish I could shield every child’s innocence, but unfortunately I can’t.. please pray for my hometown
My son died of prostate cancer Oct 25, my birthday. He had turned 47 on the 14. I’ve always loved this song. Though my son was an adult I know that had I been told I could take his place, I would have done it in a heartbeat. I am blessed to have seen my 4 children grow up and have their families . He had one son that was just started college and one go into high school. I would have wanted him to see his boys grow up . But God makes those decisions. ❤
My sons are thirty two and thirty four!!! We had so much fun and so much bs with the school system, food allergies, but they love each other. They’re best friends unlike my siblings and I. Teach your children to be kinds respectful and get each others back because the world will tear them up.
This song brings me to tears. Makes me think of my 2 children. I gave them both mad love, shows them mad love and I always allowed them to come talk to me about anything. They both are young adults now, ages 25 and 28 years of age. Neither is married and neither has any children. My daughter, the oldest completed high school and has a college degree. And my son, the youngest struggled in school. He dropped out after his 3rd time in the 11th grade. That was a big disappointment for me. He hooked up with the wrong group of so called friends. He smoked so much marijuana and someone laced it with pcp. My son lost his mind. He was 17 at the time and now he's 25 and he has to take medicine every day to be able to fumction. He stopped taking his meds, tried to hurt my mom and was arrested. He was in a mental institution like a prison for 8 months. Was released, came to live with me and his sister, wasn't home a week, hooked up with his so called friends, smoked marijuana and had to see his probation officer the next morning. Of course he violated his probation and was sent back to jail. So this song really brings tears to my eyes. Because if I could, I would try to shield his innocence from time. I want him to do better, be careful who he labels a friend, take his medicine and be able to cope with life. Thank you all for listening to me. And please pray for my son. Again thank you.😇💜🙏🏾👫🏾👩🏽
I understand, I lost my son to an abusive relationship... But this song made me realize, I can only go so far with them.. I'm very over protective when it come to boys which are grown men with families. This song brought to me tears, that you don't want to let them go. I will be praying for you.
I'm praying God takes control of all of our children's minds and help them to think right and do right. I'm a single mother and my son is 23. I'm forever praying for him. This song still brings tears to my eyes.
I dedicated this to my kids when I had them. This song is so real! I always pray and shield them from all harm and keep them safe ALWAYS……. Thank u Regina. I love u dear! Such a beautiful song ❤❤❤❤
When my daughter was born, I sang this song repeatedly. I cried because I knew that I was bringing her into this beautiful world that could be so cruel. I promised, that I would do my best. This song fills me with love and makes my heart ache at the same time. Sad and happy. Scared and fearless. Oh the dreams and hopes I have for her. How do I ever let her go. I hope she does well in life.

A song for all mothers who loved their children unconditionally. To Alma Wahlberg, RIP.
Im.in tears thinking of my 4 grown kids who.i will protect at ALL COSTS!!
YA FATHER DID AN AWESOME LIFETIME OF FINE MEMORIES, NAW YOU STILL CRYING TEARS OF JOY LADY? GLAD HE MADE YOUR FOREVER NOT END
2023 sitting here crying like a baby thinking about my two child 13 and 7 I’m 40 years old. Wish I could protect them from this crazy world. 🙏🏾
Yes indeed
Yesssssss🙏🏽😩
All three of my children is going through something so this song came to mind so I looked it up played it then send it to each of them so they know how I feel because sometimes words can't express how you feel or sometimes your children just need to know your here for them, you might can't take away what they're going through but just them knowing you understand and love them through whatever they're going through so as I write this comment and cry they say God understand crying better than any prayers, so I'm hoping he see my tears and there's too so he can help us in our time of trials.
I'm 41 an am sitting here listening to this for the younger generation
I was born in ‘98 ... but this here is the era I live for!!! None of the bs out today could EVER compare to classics like this!!
Right
Kinda cringe ngl
You are blessed with Rebbie Jackson ''Yours Faithfully'' ..which was released in 98'
@milan edwina as an old 43 year man lol I agree there's no r&b today. Listen to marvin and stevie.
You’re a Year Older than Me! I’m a ‘99 Baby. 90s isn’t My Favorite. More like the 70s & 80s. But the 90s does have some Goodies. And this is One of them.
I remember this song as a young man in 1993, however only after my daughter's birth a decade later could I truly understand the depth of this song.
I have no kids 45, I dedicate this to all the kids of the future who are not aware of the love God in good people 🙏 as him to guide you to them
When I was deep in my addiction the man I was with, who brought me into my addiction, had a visit from his mother.
♥️
I wish my firstborn knew she has a mother who loves her.
Wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lost Warrior YOU NOT LOST IT HAPPENED TO A LOT OF PEOPLE THEY ASSUME IF THEY DO WIITH THIER PARTNER DO IT WOULD KEEP THEM IN LOVE AND NEITHER ONE WILL BE SEPARATED/\YOU HAVE TO TELL YOURSELF YOU LOVE YOU AND HIM OR HER TO WHAT’S RIGHT AND YOU GOT TO BECOME MORE TRUE FULL TO YOURSELF AND IT’S GOING TO HURT CAUSE ONE YOU KICK THE HABBIT AND THEE OTHER MAY NOT JUST KNOW LOVE IS NOT WATCHING SOMEONE SUFFER AND ADDING TO IT/\LOVE CURES=LOVE SOLVES=LOVES HEALS=LOVE GIVE LOVE AND IT’S NOT A BODYACHER OR SHORTEGE AND JUST BECAUSE YOU REACHING FOR HELP DOESN’T MEANS HE GOING TO DROWN JUST BE WILLING TO ALLOW ONE ANOTHER TO SAY I LOVE ME SEE ME IN ABETTER PLACE(THIS IS FROM LEASA MCINTOSH )
As a man..This song makes me cry every time I listen to it.

I'm still listening January 2021! I have 2 grown daughters but still feel this way.
@peachez I have one Son 28 yrs. old & I feel the same as well.💕
Me too hunni
It's such a beautiful, I also think about my son (8 yrs) every time I hear it
God bless OUR CHILDREN
🙋🏽♀️Same here, 2 girls 1 boy. My oldest daughter just turned 21 this month and next month she's is moving to another city with her 20 year old boyfriend who she's only known a little over one year. I'm so scared and worried for her but what can I do? 🤷🏽♀️😩😪💔
The more you try to prove to them that something isn't right, the more they pull towards it. 😔🤦🏽♀️
Sometimes I just tear up when I think about her leaving. I wish she could just see all the red flags in that relationship. This guy didn't even want her to finish college!! She's in culinary school and she's suppressed to be going one more year to get the highest degree which is Doctoral but she's gonna finish this semester in March and move in with him and his mom until they can get a place. 😑🤨
So she's put all this time into school only to end up staying with a bum of a boyfriend who lives with his mom in her roach infested house that's so infested she's having to move because she can't get rid of them all?!?😵🤮
My daughter has lead a very sheltered life to the point that she didn't even have to work as a teen, she just chose to.
🙏🏽👩🏽🍳😊 Her name is Megan (I call her chef MeMe🥰)
Sorry this was so long, I guess I needed to vent that. 😌
Best of luck to anyone reading this that may be going through anything similar. 🙏🏽💗
Listening in tribute to Alma Wahlberg (Mother of Donnie and Mark Wahlberg)...April 18, 2021. Rest In Peace with the Angels.
Never heard of this song before today...beautiful...May Alma rest in peace 🙏🏾❤🕊
Same here, I have never heard it before but it’s truly beautiful RIP Alma 💞
Beautiful Song
Donnie and Mark
Prayers and Thoughts
I looked it up too, for same reason! RIP Alma Wahlberg! ♥
This song makes me cry everytime i hear it. I dedicate this to my son cause Lord knows "If I could" I would protect him from this mean world. I love my son so much!
+Tee M i have a son too so i understand how you feel
+Tee M God Bless you and your family :-)
+Tee M, I agree with your saying as well words too. I feel the same way too. I,LOVE my son to death as well LOVING my son so much too.
Love your son my sister but don't over mother him. That way he won't grow up soft and helpless. Not saying you in particular but many Black mothers tend to over mother their boys.
Tee M Same here nothing but tears when I hear this!
I know mothers wish this for their children, but I've always wished this for my mom!❤️👏🏿👊🏿🙏🏿
dang it Regina...why do u have to make a grown man all teary eyed and emotional...
This song always triggering my allergies
I'm teary-eyed!
Damn Regina!
Ii feel you amd its okay. Its okay for any man to become emotional or have a heart or have a conchance. If we dont we not human at all.
willieb20052001 so true I have only seen comments from women and you are the only man who has commented well done for speaking on behalf of the male population.
Well done Kathy -- you were brave and good - I am sure if your son knows the story, he is just so proud of you and to be your son.
@@patriciaolson1852 Thank you!
You are a inspiration ♡
@@shemene647 Thank you so much.
You did the right thing. I pray your son understands and honours your value❤
A song for every mother's wish for her children!!
My daughter is 13, I made a playlist of about a dozen songs for her after she was born and I must add this to it. I’m not ashamed that this song brings me to tears...
I am 30 and this my moms song to me. Everytime we hear it she reminds me. And b.c ot that I will always associate it with her
It's Beau-Ti-Ful don't be God Bless You
So true, unconditional love of a mother is likened to the agape love of GOD, Our Father, the Breasty One.
Listening in 2024 words of strong love from a woman to their children. I gave my 2 daughters so much knowledge and my granddaughter ❤❤❤❤
My mothers bodily functions ceased at 12:05 pm EST yesterday 10/13/2021. This was her FAVORITE SONG! It will be playing at her Celebration of Life 🥰❤️
@Crystal Hicks
I just sent this song to my kids wishing my mom was still here..Its gonna b hard but you will make it... I took me some but I've made it with the help of my kids.. Bless U & Stay Strong... It will b OK..
❤❤❤
So sorry for your loss...I'm sure your mom would love this to be played..she loved you but now you remember all the things she taught you.
Much love to you 💪🏾💯💟🤲🏾💫
I'm so very sorry for ur loss💗
As a mother of 2 grown daughters, I still feel that way,I would cry thier tears if I could.
The song touches every parents soul!
This song makes you so emotional. It's the hope all parents have for their children.

There is no one in my eyes who sings this any better, than Regina.

🔱 🗽
This song always brings tears to my eyes ❤ Bravo to Regina Belle❤ Such a beautiful talent and beautiful song ❤ May God protect our children always ❤
I cry every time this song is played.
❤ It took me ten years to conceive my son. I've always felt like I
had a special promise to keep to God for letting me have him.
My mom knows I’m going through the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. She sent me this song recently. Love you mom❤️
This song is soooo beautiful and touching got me in tears.... still listening 4/21/2023❤
My mom just send me this song thinking nothing of it and I ended up crying. With this song I realized that less than in month I'm going to leave for college and it's gonna be me and God at that point and my parents won't be there. I love you momma ❤
I jus sent my kids that song too..STAY SAFE & Congrads..
Update: I been in college for two months and I been doing pretty good on my own. 😁
If I could
I'd protect you
From the sadness
In your eyes
Give you courage
In a world
Of compromise
Yes, I would
If I could
I would teach you
All the things
I've never learned
And I'd help you
Cross the bridges
That I've burned
Yes, I would
[Chorus:]
If I could
I would try to shield
Your innocence
From time
But the part of life
I gave you isn't mine
I'll watch you grow
So I can let you go
If I could
I would help you
Make it through
The hungry years
But I know
That I can never
Cry your tears, babe
But I would if I could
If I could
In a time
And place
Where you
Don't wanna be
You don't have
To walk along
This road with me
My yesterday
Won't have to be
Your way
If I knew
I'd try
To change the world
I brought you to
Now there
Isn't much more
What I can do
But I would
If I could
[Chorus]
If I could
Whitney Jackson
Thank you so much sweetie,
you just blessed my day with the lyrics of this beautiful masterpiece, by the lovely
Regina Belle my daughter is blessing me with my first grandbabies twin girls in less then six weeks, and I emailed her this song.
Thank you
Whitney, thank you for putting out these lyrics. This song represents my heart to my daughter. One never knows the love in a mother's heart until they have that child and watch him or her grow up. But my daughter will always be my heart, my child. If I could change the work for her, I would...
Thank you Regina for speaking for most/
ALL moms who relate to your beautiful song. And to the moms who didn't get a chance to show their love.
Thanks for the words.
I have a 9 year old grandson and if I could keep him from everything that is going on in the world now I would praying that God cover him and be there for him every step alone the way
Dedicating this to one of my best friends who took his own life just one day after Thanksgiving this year.#RIP Tyler O. You are severely missed.

Sending love and comfort your way!💔
I cry to this day when I hear this song. raising my three daughters back in the days were so hard.
My condolences to your family but it's now well with your mother.
May God continue to Bless You Sweetie I feel Ya pain 🙏🏽💯 continue to pray
I can’t listen to this song at work… 😢😢😢…. One of the most beautiful songs ever made!
Here I am at work thinking I could be strong and listen without shedding a tear but alas here comes the tears lol
@@tiffanypage9178I guess we a bunch of water heads lol…… but when my kids involved IDC.
Mrs Regina Belle because of people like you we know what real music is, a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you
I danced this song with my son at his wedding...I cried from beginning to end. In one song Regina was able to capture te wishes of every mother/grandmother in this world. Thank you Regina
This song represents my life as a single father , who raised 3 boys(who are now men) that checked all the boxes of this masterpiece. I tried!
❤❤❤❤❤
My mom was like this with me , always protecting , watching , guiding and loving me ; now it's my turn with my child . Beautiful song.
This was the perfect song for the father - daughter dance at my wedding. I was so blessed to have my dad there. We both cried ❤
🥰🥰🥰 congratulations
My sons are thirty two and thirty four!!! We had so much fun and so much bs with the school system, food allergies, but they love each other. They’re best friends unlike my siblings and I. Teach your children to be kinds respectful and get each others back because the world will tear them up.
Perhaps this classic will go own as one of the top ten inspirational songs of all time. Regina Belle nailed it!
Her voice brings me to tears.. excellent vocals...
Again thank you.😇💜🙏🏾👫🏾👩🏽
Praying for your Son I have a 22 yr old Son we will pray for each other
I understand, I lost my son to an abusive relationship... But this song made me realize, I can only go so far with them.. I'm very over protective when it come to boys which are grown men with families. This song brought to me tears, that you don't want to let them go.
I will be praying for you.
@@cesmith1023 Thank you so much . I will be praying for you as well. Be blessed and stay safe.
Give him in your heart and he will be and get better.
I'm praying God takes control of all of our children's minds and help them to think right and do right. I'm a single mother and my son is 23. I'm forever praying for him. This song still brings tears to my eyes.
This song always touches my heart. She's still beautiful and I'm still listening in 2024❤
I dedicated this to my kids when I had them. This song is so real! I always pray and shield them from all harm and keep them safe ALWAYS……. Thank u Regina. I love u dear! Such a beautiful song ❤❤❤❤
I am Pregnant with my first child, and my Mom suggested this for my Playlist. Since I found out I CANT STOP SINGING! I'm in Tears♥️♥️
I'm listening to this in 2021 and I'm feeling all those memories reminiscing as a child growing up Regina bell is so underrated listening from 🇯🇲🇯🇲Jamaica
My mom's song to my brother. And now that she's deceased and I am now a mother myself I understand this song at a higher level. Rest easy my love @Arlene Rawlins ❤
