22:58 OH MAN, I buzzed in IMMEDIATELY (by slapping the table top of my work desk and startling my coworkers) when I heard that! Red Alert is straight from my childhood!
Ooh, so this is when the buzzer display was added! Makes it a little easier to play along, see if I might have buzzed in before the players or not. I knew about 93.5 points worth of music this time around, but... Liam would have beat me on a pretty good number of those. I would not stand a chance against him. :P
Love this series and I love you've done it in such a way that you can play at home, so glad you're continuing it. Also didn't expect to hear Hell March 1, Red Alert 1 is one of the all time great games.
8:03 i have never played this game, but i can literally sing the lyrics of this song. Insane in rain and family jules and other freinds has such a good cover of this
Love this! VGM is such a broad thing that it can make a fool of anyone. Kudos to Liam - he has done the leg-work and then some, wow. Will be participating vicariously from here on. r/gamemusic brought me here. Small suggestion: name or emphasize the composer. Or offer bonus points for naming them.
The funniest thing was that while playing against a friend of mine, he yelled "Roxas' Theme" the moment you mentioned the "Guess the Character Based on Their Theme" only to have it pop up later. 🤣
I was really rooting for Kbash then felt bad that Liam destroyed everyone. The whole video had me like “You don’t know this song? Are you for real?” The questions were well thought out. I was laughing at the responses from everyone. This was fun. Thanks for hosting.
I'm so mad at myself for not identifying the Omori song. One of my favorite games of the last couple years. I love the final round. I nailed XenoGears of War before I even heard the second song, given how few names start with the name Gears.
Yes! Thanks for standing up for Johnny Gioeli! As amazing as Ian Gillian is, I like Johnny Gioeli even better. Yes better than the singer of freaking Smoke in the Water. Even better than Robert Plant! I don’t think I’ve ever heard a singer with such beautiful tone, but with a blistering metal edge, with amazing technique and vocal range. It’s no coincidence That Neal Schon who hired Steve Perry wanted to be in his band. Just happened a few years too late. Robert Plant didn’t have the tone Johnny has even in his prime even though Plants technique was impeccable.
Loved the video! I'm gonna have to check more of your videos, this was really fun XD (I also 100% need to check if you've ever used a Lufia 2 track in one of these tests to see if you're a man of culture)
(For a second I was thinking "I know this, I think it might be FF, but I feel like I played a lot of this very recently". I did binge the entirety of Xenogears in like 2 weeks before Xenoblade 3 came out)
Lmfao 'I should go outside'
'No i hear there's some great farming sims you can play instead'
That's a sick burn Lmao
I feel like Tim Rogers would be insane at this
Thanks so much for making something like this. I love this type of Video game Trivia stuff! Also, shout outs to KBASH on here.
I love making these, and seeing people's faces while their memory gets tickled is so entertaining. Glad you liked it!

The CUTSCENES though.
I challenge Liam to a go outside contest. I will lose.
Tremendously fun time as always. One day I will guess "Tomba" to myself and it will be correct.

Thanks! I don't include too many western games as I find people have a hard time recognizing them, but Hell March is iconic.
Glad to see the series back and with some super cool guests!

In the Before&After round, when I heard the Persona 4: Golden song, I thought which of the Golden Sun games will be for the 2nd part.
Listening again after the tournament. Managed a 50!
Very strange hearing songs I recognized after that more recent insanity.
Before and after category: Lufia and the Fortress of Doom Eternal

Yeah, I wanna do one of these. XD
If I come on this show I will be Liam 2.0
Got 43 points!
