    O and one more thing the purple arms that drop down to link up your steering who makes that ????

  • @AwkwardPencil
    @AwkwardPencil 10 лет назад +1

    You have any way to show this done on the basic tto1d have some upgrades but near as many as you just want a lot more steering

      For starters you need universal joints and a One Way Spool up front before you can increase the steering. Then there is a kit available if you can find it that really increases the steering. I don't remember who makes it but if you look up Steering tt01 on google you might find it.

    Hey Steph, I know I'm dragging up another old video..... I've only been back in the Hobby since December.
    I am so fascinated with you making that a front motored setup!! I'm guessing that you get the same sort of advantage as the XV-01 chassis. I'm wondering - have you tried swapping gearboxes and steering on the TT-02?? I'm trying to get one, but don't know if the bathtub chassis makes this possible or not.

      I just got a TT02 myself and have yet to build it. Right now I only really know thats its supposed to be an upgrade to the TT01... Aside from the obvious details written on the internet.

      Well, that's worth at least looking into. Love the HPI retrofit! Very minimal modifications to that setup, which made it look even better.
      You have quite a creative mind! I've been that way..... I think I just need a Jumpstart!! 😁 😂😄🍻 lol
      I'm going with the TT-02, because I'm now poor, they're nearly a dime a dozen, and there's a solid aftermarket for them.
      ..... And, I'm no longer a competitor. 😉 I do really like your HPI bellcrank solution. Definitely stuffing that idea in this old brain somewhere!!

      Can you go into some video detail on your TT-02 build please?

      OldfartRC i most likely will. adjusting things as i go along. as you may have noticed i hate sloppy suspensions.

      It's not obvious yet.... but I'm the SAME way! I nearly got a CC-01 front suspension completely TIGHT! I'm kinda proud of that. AND, I did it WITHOUT chopping up the chassis, and the Servo is in the stock location...
      My wife says I'm too finicky - they're just models! (SO glad she didn't say toys!) 😨 But, even she has changed her tune, when she saw my Landfreeder running with her brother's Pajero. The build and performance between them was night and day!
      Yeah, working on, building up and racing 1:1 cars & trucks for almost 40 years has set my standards pretty high, as to how a 1/10th Scale vehicle should perform....
      NOW - if I could only get better at DRIVING R/C vehicles!! 😜😲😲

    Great work :)
    I startet to change my steering.
    But i have to buy cvd swing shafts and i don't know what are the best in low price for a wide steering angle. What are yours? Is it 3racing?

      Most Universal joint will give you about 45 degrees. The ones that can give you 55 degrees are Active Components but are now now EXTREMELY hard to find.

    How will I get the motor in the front of my tto1 es

    • @TheLEDwheel
      @TheLEDwheel  10 лет назад +1

      For starters the front and rear suspension is symmetrically the same so installing the suspension arms on opposite ends is easy. I setup my own steering system but there are some conversion kits out there. Do a google search for TT)! inverted or rear steering or something like that.
