Look up Tesla Motors Limited #04384008 and see Tesla was actually started Feb 28,2002 in the UK and seeings the Roadster was built on an electrified Lotus Elise chassis and the first 900 tagged in the UK with a SFZ vin prefix and if Elon patented it under the Roadster name then it would lead to lots of issues between AC Propulsion , Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning.....LOL

Look at TSLA share price compared to performance. The people in power want him gone yesterday. Also notice how every Tesla story is negative on the main media sites. Nevermind he sold almost 2 million cars and was perfect launching satellites last year.
In regard to revenue in comparison to Ford, they generated around $160B in revenue but still LOST $2.15B. Tesla generated $96B and PROFITED $15B. Not to mention Ford has been around for 86 more years than Tesla. Just to put into perspective.

After watching this show for awhile now I really admire Tom and how smart and calculated he is. Adam and Vinny are total wildcards somedays and blurt crazy or super biased stuff, but Tom is the level-headed guy who speaks the most sense with sound reasoning.

This is a silly comparison.
Comparing revenue means very little. Compare total profit and margins. Look at debt totals of the other auto companies (its ridiculous). Look at cash on hand.

@@johnmadden6482 Ford has about $150 billion in debt, and GM $100 billion. Even after being bailed out by gov in past. Ford loses between $30 - $60 000 on every EV sold
But yeah all that's irrelevant cause Tesla's EV business will be tiny compared to everything else they are going to do.
Because all real carmakers have banking divisions for their leasing activity. For muskrats: They are not just carmakers but also banks.
