Nice combo video. Have you ever tried to hit your opponent with the explosion only with the bombs? Don't know if it's even a good idea, im just speculating. In this case it takes 5 seconds(I think) till the bomb explodes, it would be cool if it would cover up options for your opponent or just be used in neutral game well somehow

It's bomb teching. Savesatevis doing a technical di/sdi thing with both the c stick and control stick to do all that. Im not really sure how it works but i know he invented it.
If only Link was top tier...

This is what a fucking link main looks like! I always knew link combos were so much more advanced than ppl realized. That bomb tech cancel to aerial offstage is really ingenious! The single hit bair conversions are really useful as well. If you weak hit nair into ff single hit bair and l cancel it you can get a turn around dsmash and sometimes a grab before they land or right as they land you can jab reset with the single hit bair. Using it to jab reset is also incredible and underused. Great combos and great vid. Really inspiring thank you

s.L ⃒ Savestate dope! So i discovered a really wacky bomb jump with link that uses his zair, i found it works best if he is turned around. What you do is zdrop a bomb in the air then airdodge down into it and shoot it with the initial hit of zair that comes out. You don't need your jump for this but the downside is it doesn't send link towards stage if he is facing stage
I mainly have messed with his zdrop and combo stuff alot so another cool one ive found is you can time the zair jump up recovery to catch a bomb you already threw up and then zdrop it or throw it immediately afterward. If you ff then up b you can also get the same effect as a bomb jump edgeguard
You may know of this one but link can also regrab ledge almost instantly with initial zair hit. I call it the quick tether. To do this one you press back on the ledge, jump so you are alligned with the top of the ledge then airdodge and press a then a again real fast. It is so fast people barely notice what happens but it gives you invincible options from ledge and is faster than jump regrabbing ledge. Due to the nature of tether though you can only do it once per landing on stage. I have a theory on how to counteract this though. What cool link things do you know of in melee? I don't know 1.0 melee stuff. Any of it viable in today's tourney meta?
