- Today (after a long while since our last upload) we're back with another repair video. This time we have a broken Sony party speaker.
Diode replacement from Aliexpress (SS34(B) Schottky Barrier Rectifier SMD Diode): m.aliexpress.com/wholesale/ss...
Check that you get the correct package size for the replacement diode (we didn't). Other sizes will work if they have the same specifications, but the original size will surely fit on the board.

Can you bypass this to just allow the speaker to be “always on” when plugged in? I’m not as handy with a soldering iron lol
Mine's don't charge, what could be the problem?
Mine lights are on but no power on the speaker.. light on the power button comes on flashes then gone
The diod is ok. But i not have the 36V on the yellow connector. What is the problem ?

I had the same problem, and this got it fixed...so bluetooth works and power button does thing, but I have no sound and no party lights....any ideas?
