@@SedikPTYT Those plastic covers are firmly glued to the wooden speaker box. It doesn't go down without damage, only if it melts with a hot air gun. Then the whole sony logo on the side starts to melt.
Well, i don't now if you will reply me but, Can you send me a photo from the back of that power suply? Mine burns up a few day ago and i am not able to know which component was.

I was listening to music last night, not very loud and it just stopped all of a sudden. There is no power going into the speaker. I’ve checked the fuse and it works with other appliances. I’m Uk based. Is there a point into opening the speaker and where should I look for something wrong ? The speaker is about 8-9 years old. Any recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks !

It could be anything. Measure the power supply module and then the part with the amplifier.
Mine doesn’t work after removing the top plate. Remote works for power and lights but can’t change or use Bluetooth button to connect to the speaker. How do you fix this
I have the same issue, power going to the unit, but nothing happens when i hit the power button. Im going to rip it apart, ill let you know what i find.
I was able to remove the entire casing. Keep taking all screws off on top, bottom and sides & invetween handles. The silicone/glue is strong but with enough force you can pop them off.
@@akus3ru463 you said it doesn't charge... it won't charge because the XB7 does not contain a built in battery like the newer speakers. It will only work with mains power lead.. i believe you mean to say it won't power on if that's the case.

This would be a step in needing to remove the casing but this specific video only helps you remove the top part.

It exists. But it has to be broken down. I didn't get it on xb7 because of glue.
