What a brilliant way to promote a mini-album! It is equal parts funny and informative and fantasy fulfillment. I have always wanted to share a scholastic experience with her, I thought I wanted to be her classmate, but her as a teacher is even better.
The message of COLOURS is so meaningful to me because I have also gone through a similar journey to self-acceptance and self-respect, but it makes me sad Solar-nim saw her efforts as average. While there is nothing wrong with average, her abilities, creations, and performances are exceptional. Hers is a studied kind of exceptional, a deliberate, intentional kind, and while it might be different from the unstudied exceptional, is equally effective and excellent. Hers feels like a distillation of experience and astute observation, a crystallization of practice and her potent essence. This is somethig so beyond average because it is so difficult to achieve that few can do it, much less with the flair she does.
I reread this comment to savor it like a fine wine, much like Solar herself

Dear Solar, I don't know which fans told you they don't like silver color but I'm sure they are just minor as most of us love the Glam Silver concept photos so much. I mean it really drove us crazy when the concept photos were released because we freakin love it!!! Thank you for making it work as we really love it and we are all very excited about the upcoming 'Colors' MV. 🫶❤

I love hearing the synopsis and explanation for all the songs, especially those we haven't heard much about yet! After Solar-nim explains each one, I think, this is the one I'm anticipating most, no, this one. In short, I'm desperate to listen to all of them. Even more than 6 genres, it feels like 6 scenarios, with different situations, emotions, plots, and resolutions. This is even more than everything I've wished for🥹

This was brilliant professor Solar, I am ready for the 30th. And I really relate to and appreciate what Solar said about accepting yourself as you get older. We could all be a little kinder to ourselves sometimes and it sounds like Colours will be a great catalyst to inspire others.

Solar, I can't put into words the excitement I feel for this album! Everything about it and the pride with which you talk about each song in this mini-album makes me SO SO happy. You have once again taken on a challenge and created an album that is unlike any of your previous works. You challenged yourself and combined songs from different genres into one album! Wow
I'm very curious about Colors MV and But I MV. Curious about your work with a band. Curious about the behind the scenes of filming the music video and recording the songs. Curious about the new Empty sound. Curious about Honey Honey (at this point I'm thinking, "she actually has so many songs about honey. why didn't she call her fans "honey bees"? haha). I'm curious about Easy Peasy being a folk genre!!! I thought this will be slow R&B... and in the end I'm curious about blues! Ebony Black's concept photos amazed me.
Every time you come up with something new, your creativity blows my mind! You have sooooo much in store, so many ideas. It shows that you really enjoy what you do and you love it. That's why I'm proud to call myself your fan. And I will support you forever.

The way YongSun introduced her own album is so awesome and dramatic like listening a very intriguing story. She could be a very successful businesswoman as I will buy anything she introduces even if I don't have the money TT
It's so satisfying to see an artist be passionate about her art.
As for which song I'm most interested to hear - all of them, honestly. I have wished for a rock song from Solar ever since she sang Romantic Cat. Color, from the teaser, is definitely colorful and bright. Empty signified a time when she was in low spirits, but in true Solar fashion, she turned it into a song that heals. Easy Peasy sounds like another healing song, and I won't ever get tired of getting healing songs from her. I thought honey honey would be like bubblegum pop but it being a rnb incites curiosity. Blues as a blues song (😄) - I will never turn down blues or jazz song from a mmm members.
April 30 can't come fast enough!

another thing that i like about mamamoo members is their extreme involvement and passion with their craft. from the conceptualizing, writing process, recording and adlibs, shooting music vids, collaborating with diff artists and people, promoting, and live performing, they really went all out every time. you can really feel the genuine intention and love for their craft among mamamoo members. it never feels forced. they know what they want, and they will make sure to make it into reality
I love how creative Solar is and how she always tries something out of the box with each comeback, she inspires me so much so excited for this comeback ❤

Solar singing a rock song is a dream come true for me 😍 I actually asked Mamamoo a question once with Spotify something like that where I asked if they would try a rock song as a group, that would be so cool as well ! (I know some songs in their best of are rock but I would love a song that is rock from the beginning, with instrumental solos and stuff 🤩 anyway lol) This album is gonna be one of my favorite I love it already ! All theses different kinds of music genre and I love the ColOURS concept ! I'm so excited for all the tracks but especially "Colors", "But, I", and "Blues" ! Imagine Blues with some saxophone as well...🥰 Thanks for reading lol !

Solar has really mastered writing English! That she even knew about the British "colours" and American "colors" was impressive. Love how she chose "colours" for the inclusion. She understood "easy peasy" perfectly! So happy that she is more accepting of herself and her joy of experience the differences in all people. She is the perfect leader for the four intelligent, thoughtful, loving, tender and talented women. I've been watching every teaser and can't wait for the release. FIGHTING!

hehe such an interesting video idea to showcase the various charms of Solar's 2nd mini album COLOURS. love the insights she gave and it seems like a very well-rounded and well thought-out album! not to mention very aptly named! as we know, Solar likes taking on new challenges and this album seems encompass that, while also being consistent with all her previous works (in that Solar loves to empower herself and other people to be confident and respectful of themselves and others around them). it also tickles me that she's aware the Midnight Blue concept photos does not match the loneliness vibe of the song Empty, but she does what she wants and i'm here for it!

Blows my mind I've been following this woman for years and the time only made her more humble, it's crazy to hear every time how Yongsun felt average for so long when she's all the opposite words in the dictionary and more. No person achieves what she did being average. And even if that were the case, it's her persistence, stubbornness and relentless hard work and attitude that makes her more incredible that most. She is sooo excited over this album and it's contagious, I'll be vibrating with anticipation for Yong's music which is, without a a doubt, the best sound and experience a human can encounter. Our smart, attractive, talented, adorable, extraordinary Yongsun stay healthy and happy, rooting for you !
