I have an abondunce of light aluminum alloy, carbon fiber, a sander, and a welder. This is going to be awesome but hard. Master chief is also 8ft tall so 😑

@@ImpactProps yo impact props, I’m making a almost Star Wars bounty hunter like suit but idk how to make (say for instance for a chest plate) the armor symmetrical and I can’t think of a way to be sure about it being that way. What do you do to make sure it’s even measurements and spaces when places all together?

I’ve made a halo 4-5 armour and I might build the new chief, I love being perfect (and I never really get it but still) so I use templates, I envy those who can scratch build and make it look like how it is meant to be

I never leave comments on peoples videos but I just had to here. I have seen a lot of different builds for spartan armor and have attempted at making my own in the past with utter and complete failure but what I just witnessed in this video was some of the most incredible work I have ever seen. The amount of time and effort you put into this suit is just incredible to me. There are guys out there 3D printing pieces and all kinds of stuff and you just made an entire suit that looks more legit than most I have ever seen with FN FOAM! Seriously man, huge props for this and incredible build. I am very impressed and bc of this just became your next subscriber. Look forward to seeing more of your content.

My only issues are that I dont have either enough time or money.
You could always practice with cardboard. So you get the sort of feel of it without breaking your wallet.

Since 2017, I've been here. And every episode is special in its own way, from Master Chief rooms and shoots a gun, too building the Halo infinite armor. Every upload is like Christmas morning for me
This channel has been my biggest inspiration for getting unto costuming! I always had an interest in it, but once I found this channel back when living with chief first started, it gave my the final push to finally start! You do amazing work! I remember commenting on a video, then getting a reply that eventually led to a skype call where you and ryan answered some questions for me. This has remained one of my favorite channels because of that interaction. You rock! keep up the good work, brad!

We share little to nothing in common, so to finally find something as incredible as Halo to bond over is amazing. I watch impact props all the time and see how much effort he puts in this work I see the final, it was amazing, also he has so much talent to do that by hand. I can’t lie but a few spots need some work but I can’t say anything it’s the best piece of work I ever seen from him.

Listening to your backstory of how much you love Master chief brings me back to the very first time I ever discovered Halo was when I was like 6 years old and the very first attempt at anything costume related was I made a halo masterchief helmet out of school paper. It looked really bad for sure but that feeling you think you’re him was the moment I fell in love with costume making. Now I want to build a master chief suit too!

I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS. Me and a friend are going to make ourselves ODST Armour. I am so excited to start now that this video has shown us how to do it. I've worked a little bit with foam before, so this will be interesting. Still don't know how we'll do the helmets though, our friend group only has small 3D printers and the local College and University will charge us up the butt. We'll see how this goes, no matter the frustration and challenges I know this will be a lot of fun :DDDD

Edit: Inflation do be making foam hella expensive ngl. I should add the only part that will make me not enjoy this is paying for stuff, but then again, I'm kind of happy to throw money at this joint project :)

You brought the game to life walking in the real world- not a costume. It looks freakin real bro! It is perfect! Better than the tv show suit which they had so much budget.
