I also heard from an AC youtuber that they gift wrap the fossils and give them to islanders to become best friends. This is a good way to get photos of your residents lol
as i was listening to you talk about the seasonal DIYs only being useful for like two weeks, i just wanted to say that there’s a few items particularly from the trees bounty series you can customize white to make it wintery themed! the tree’s bounty arch especially looks gorgeous with the white pine cones, festive look, etc.

I've decided to make little seasonal gardens around my island for the seasonal items once their season is over. So I created a Halloween garden with all the October seasonal items and plan to make a mushroom garden as well.
You can definitely reuse seasonal items again and again. Many can be customized to be more of a fit for different seasons (such as customizing pumpkins to white and green or frosting the trees bounty items for winter) or they can be reused in new ways. I think many of us still use our Cherry blossom items and I even took out my old Bunny Day items to use as a part of my Toyland for the winter season. I also mix and match my shell furniture with my mushroom furniture.
The butterfly exhibit is just so incredibly beautiful... It makes me want to cry. I took a video of it and I keep going back to it whenever I'm a bit stressed out and it's just so ethereal almost. Love your videos! Please continue these :3
The butterfly 🦋 exhibit is one of my favorite places in the museum. When I can’t find Goldie, she’s usually in this area. Great content as usual. I need to get back into the game again. I miss my villagers so much.
You don't hide the branches in a ledge to not have them elsewhere on the island? I have 15 branches, 6 fossils and a 1 rock hidden so I don't have to search for them every day
@@OakieDoke799 You get 15 branches, 6 fossils and 1 stone, and put them in a ledger on the back part of the island (you bury the fossils). You know that when you have a 2nd level there's always a 1 block space? And the same happens with the 3rd level. Normally, you can walk around this ledger. The part that is facing the back sea is hidden, so you walk around and bury the fossils, and drop the branches and rock, and the game detects that you have the maximum branches, rock and fossil count, and doesn't spawn them on the rest of the island. So you won't see them, but they won't spawn elsewhere, and it's one less chore you have to make. if you ever need a fossil, branch or a rock, you can get it from there.
I made a fossil garden for visitors, and it stopped them from spawning anywhere else. **But it also seems to have stopped the truffles from spawning, just fyi.**Edit: IT DOES NOT STOP TRUFFLES FROM SPAWNING! I was just unlucky for a few days there it seems.

I love your mornings, they are so much like the way I spend my morning on the island. I am in the southern hemisphere and I found the weeds on the snow a nice distraction from all the snow. They are a very flat weed in winter. It is funny to see everything white as I have never seen snow in real life. I did eventually clear the island but now I plant them where I want for a more natural look and I love the Spring weed.
I stopped being able to play A.C. as much back in September when my son's school started and I had to juggle my job and his education. So I stopped watching A.C. Videos too, to cut back on temptation. I have gotten to a point where I am finding a little free time in the evenings to play again, and your chill videos are exactly what I need to get me in the mood to do maintenance, and ramp up from there

I enjoyed the fall diy but then again, I have a Southern hemisphere island so it felt like I had plenty of time to enjoy the stuff. Especially since I only got winter diy and not the Christmas stuff. I'm not a huge fan of Christmas. I don't have fond memories for Christmas but I do love winter itself. It was actually really nice to just get to enjoy winter season on animal crossing without the Christmas stuff.

Just wanted to say I love your videos. For the last week I've put them on my living room TV most days and just let it autoplay while I work. I'm a relatively new player and have learned a ton, but I mostly just like watching someone play and enjoying the soundtrack. It's oddly relaxing :-)
Just bury your fossils in an inconspicuous place like behind a building or cliff and you won’t get anymore spawning. Same with sticks, just drop them (don’t bury) in a hidden location and they won’t spawn anymore. Same with that random one stone that always spawns next to the rocks.
Hi Ryan! I love your videos! You have a very soothing voice, and it helps during the pandemic to hear the sounds of other adults enjoying the things I enjoy. I had a video suggestion for you! You've done tons of villager hunting and had a lot of opportunities to take dreamies or just good villagers. How about a video recapping your hunts and all the villagers you COULD have gotten and who you got stuck with instead. It would be funny.

The chill aspect of you just doing your thing, starting your morning with the community, in my opinion is perfect - especially paired with the time of day music in game, creates for a relaxing watch for your viewers ^__^ thanks for this content!
Also, if you're tired of fossil spawns you could bury the max fossils in areas that are obscured by cliffs or behind buildings where you can't see them & then you won't have to worry about them! (I'm still just letting them do their thing and selling them off.)

I have a room in my (animal crossing) house I decorate as that seasons stuff like Halloween or now fall items, so I don’t have to run around island to clean up or change, only if make sense for awhile to keep up....in real life this week xmas decor goes up, I try to have xmas tree up by Thanksgiving.....I only jump off piers and cliffs when go diving..ha ha..we have alarms set for the ps5 but hasn’t worked out yet....but we just got switches and this game in May so we’re set for a little while, maybe it’ll be on sale when we can finally get it....thx for video..👍🏻🤓😷
Just bury and hide 6 fossils somewhere and you dont have to worry about them spawning anymore. You can do the same thing with the tree branches and the 1 rock that spawns everyday. I have it all hid at the back of a cliff and dont have to deal with it anymore.
I was pretty annoyed at the fact that all the amazing fall items are available this late. So after Halloween I collected them and travelled to Winter time because I'm just ready for christmas and my island needs a big re-do and not just a little decorating.
That's what I'll be doing for my island after winter. I'm trying to make it look like a winter forest so I'll need all the ice/snow themed items I can get.
I usually just add a few of the seasonal items and not completely change my island for the season/holiday. I will probably make my island wintery themed because I love winter.

I think the seasonal items that only show up for a short time (cherry blossoms, mushrooms, maple leaves) will be most useful in the following year.
