  • www.jpole-anten... How’d you like to deploy 50 feet of coax with just a flick of the wrist. Use the Over-Under Method to coil your cables and you'll be able to uncoil them with never a twist, kink, or snarl.

If I said this was amazing information, it would be an understatement. I used to do the elbow method until I learned that "coiling" was better for the wires (think extension cord), but I always manually "flipped" the cord or coax so it would go in the direction of turn that I wanted. Never heard or conceived of this method. Brilliant! Will try it this weekend!

Thanks for sharing this Michael. I was in pain this weekend after CW Region 1 Field day trying to roll long pieces of RG213. I will try your method. 73 Fred ON4LG

Very nice and helpful additional way to coil. I would never throw coax, especially the conductor , on concrete.

This is also how you do audio or network wires as it does not twist the cable inside of the sheath.

With almost a thousand views in only two days, my video on how to coil cables using the Over-Under method has really taken off. Some people call it "magic," but once you learn this method you too will be tossing out cables and coax with ease. Watch it now. . . ruclips.net/video/OvCN-OOxycE/видео.html

Too much intro, not enough attention to details of handling the cable.
