- Every year in the Red Centre of Australia, I join hundreds of fellow competitors for the most brutal off-road racing in the country, the Finke Desert Race. But this year I'm setting out to achieve what no one ever has accomplished, to win the Finke Desert Race on two wheels and four in the same race, this is my journey of the Finke Desert Double.
Toby's face should be on the $1 coin in Australia. He's a bloody legend and represents Australia better than half the ball sports stars....

Hey mate I’m trying to get into the finke next year. I lost both my legs in a work accident but I have prosthetic legs from biodapt for riding. I sold my story to sa power networks to buy a wr 450f 04 model. I’ll see ya out there mate, I’ve waited all my life for this. You and grabbo are massive inspiration to me. To go through the accidents you’ve both had n still ride is a testament to your courage and passion to ride… ill be at the back of the pack but it’s gonna be the best days of my life!!! Your a good bloke and you deserve the win! Best of luck for next year.
