Damn, that looks cool! Kirby has always been lacking in bosses which focus on the more platforming aspect, and I like that it's being explored here The shooter bosses also look interesting - I've only beaten Kabula (and maybe Heavy Lobster?), but Acro fight also looks awesome! How do you get WK2 to run so smoothly? The demo sometimes lags for me, which messes me up since I'm used to the tight controls of the original WK (P.S. I don't know if this has been fixed in a patch, but poor Bandana Dee can get stunlocked if he dies on one of Whispy EX's red bumpers, since their death animation gets interrupted by bouncing on the bumper) That aside, I look forward to seeing more of WK2 - it looks to be more ambitious than the first, and I really like some of its ideas :D
A lot of the issues with the WK2 demos is that they are made in a terrible engine. All the footage on this channel (Save for the initial trailer) is from the new version which is recreated in Game Maker. Sorry for all the issues me working in Pixel Game Maker MV (Previous engine) has caused. Once I recreate all the bosses from Demo 2, I'll rerelease the demo in the new engine.
@@WaddleDev I see - how difficult is it to recreate WK2's Demo in GameMaker? I imagine that they are quite different which would make the 'porting' pretty tricky, so good luck on that! -MSVCR110 and MSVCR120 shall haunt us no more-
@@SCoreReMake I'm pretty much just starting from scratch again, and using the already made bosses as a point of reference, but Game Maker has been surprisingly fun and easy to use, and it's been going well.
Well, glad to see the boss OST from Rainbow Curse isn’t going to waste!
That Acro boss fight looks insanely creative!!!! Bullet Hell Acro... it's perfect!
