I grew up south of Glasgow. We used to ride our bikes in Mammoth Cave Park and sneak into the cave system. Enjoy your time in Barren County, a place as great as its name.
We used to play interstate bingo on our trips from Louisiana to Michigan!! I loooooooved that game ♥️ Looks like some cool shops. I love love love that you ran into subscribers ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Louisiana to Michigan?! Wow, y'all must've been rich. Our big trips were from New Orleans to Biloxi, Mississippi!! Remember 8 Flags and Six Gun Junction? Haha.
My mom was from Michigan so she an I would go up there for a week every summer as a kid. My dad never came and my brother was a 6 years older, so he stopped coming about the time I start remembering the trips. Lol. We never went to New Orleans believe it or not, I had an uncle that was a doctor in Covington, so when we went that way, we just stayed with them. Except the worlds fair. My family from Michigan came down and we went to that . I remember the gondola across the Mississippi. All the shops that was so fun. ♥️ My mom was born in Tennessee, that’s where her dad was from and her mom was from Mississippi..So on our way up through Mississippi, to Michigan, we’d stay with her aunt, visit her family in Tennessee on the way back. My favorite part of the whole trip was getting into the start of the mountains and seeing the jagged rock side of the smaller mountains. I was fascinated by it. If I was asleep , mom would wake me up to see it ♥️
@@nickiewhodat273 WOW...lists of great memories 👍. The World's Fair was a blast. Every weekend at the beer garten. I hope we get to meet someday, maybe in the Smokies 👍 I was going to email you my contact information, but I don't know how, except maybe through YITS.
When you went inside the junk store. Did the man ask you where you were from. Then he would say, I won't hold that against you. Come on in. That man has met many country music stars.
I’m an hour and a half from Cave City. Believe it or not I’ve been to mammoth cave once. Never knew about the wigwam motel and have never seen these places you are touring. Thank for sharing your travels. It’s been fun watching. Be safe and have fun.
i will be staying in cave city in 2 days. looks like the town needs a face list if they want to boost tourism/ i will be doing mammoth cave tours for 3 days and 1 day is the intro to caving. i cant wait.

That brings back good memories when things were simple? Things are not that way now? Everything is a hurry? Hurry and do this and hurry and do that?
