Flew a lot of .049 control line planes , found 35 Ft. to give nice tension, but fast . my favorites was Kombat Kittens , and Beginners Ringmaster Bipe , my wife flew a Sterling Beginners Piper Cub .Except Combat planes, all with Cox baby bee motor . most time 10% but loved C0X competition fuel when I could afford a pint. Good Times!

Excellent. My first C/L experience was this kit, 10 years old. A father son thing. My Dad had VooDoo as well.

It does seem like a good plane to start with.

Bill, I know you will find the Jumpin bean to be a much better performer than the Wizard but both have a purpose. What are you using for Lines? The Dacron line is harder to find than it was in the 70s. Thanks for posting. We enjoy the videos..

Hi Bill, Thanks for posting this. Do you find the longer lines help with stunting? Have more time to react? Thanks again

If you can keep line tension, longer is better. That way you spin around slower and have more room for stunts. A reed valve Cox .049 35 feet is probably OK, with a higher performance .049 you will get dizzy.
