Lake Artemesia: " Dink o Rama"

I had a couple of hours available, so I went to one of my favorite walking lakes in Prince Georges Co. MD. I ended up with a couple dozen bass, mostly small, but they were still fun to catch. Hot summer day, 85 degree water...plastics bite. Gotta give a shout out to Luke Weiss who I met out there. He broke my Maryland PB by one ounce the day after I was out here. Nice job on your 9.7 bro!!

where are some good places to fish in Maryland

Some of my fave places are Tidings Marina and the surrounding areas at the mouth of the Susquehanna, Rock State Park in Harford County, Gunpowder Falls in Baltimore County, Kittamaqundi Park Lake in Howard County, Clopper Lake, Tridelphia Reservoir, Loch Raven Reservoir, and if I want huge catfish, I really like Piscataway Pier near Fort Washington on the Potomac. Most of these places are walk up and shore access areas, but if you have a kayak or boat, check out Little Seneca Lake, Mattawoman Creek, and Deep Creek Lake. There's sooooooo much more than this though. Probably best if you check out the Maryland Dept of Natural Resources website and browse through the Hot Spots, weekly fishing reports, and the interactive Public Access maps!! Go Get After Em!
