It's finally the 25th of Dec... wait it's only November, oh no I'm one month early!! Just kidding I made all of these videos for you in advance so you can learn these covers just in time for Christmas! I hope you've enjoyed this week, it's been so difficult to make one video a day in this style - especially when one video can take over 30 hours to make. I'm wishing you a great rest of the year, and there will be many more special videos soon ♥
0:03 - Silent Night 4:01 - Carol of the Bells 7:03 - Jingle Bells 10:35 - Deck the Halls 13:47 - O Holy Night 20:06 - Santa Claus Is Coming to Town 23:04 - The First Noel
Also guys I apologize for the title, need to play the "RUclips game" every once in a while. Soon I'm going to be saying things like "if this video gets 10,000 likes I'll post the Wrong Note Etude".
When i was 6, Me and my brother used to visit my dad in California, (We lived in Seattle, they were divorced). Of course, looking back, our dad wasn't a great guy. He abused drugs, and was still living with his parents, our grandparents. But one of the best memories i have from going to visit was that our grandma always had a Christmas train set in her living room, which played Silent night the literal EXACT way that you played it in the video. It was super detailed, probably about 5x5 feet across, covered with cotton snow and brown and green rustic buildings, you know the type, with a railroad running through and around it. The train was electric, red and black, just like the Hogwarts express, and I would sit there all day with my brother watching it run around the track over and over... I forgot about this entire thing until like 10 minutes ago, and then I heard that and the nostalgia hit me like a truck. Thanks Rousseau, for the good memories :)
You see, Rosseau is a legend. He can play all sorts of pieces, and he can also travel into the future. He is celebrating Christmas even before my family touched the Christmas tree
I know this is a big request and shouldn't be rushed by any means, but if you would play Chopin's Ballade no 4 it would just be the best Christmas gift ever!
Looking at this in the 2023, it really reflects the adversity we overcame through the Covid outbreak. I hope this reaches you well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year❤
Jeremiah Chapter 10: 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. 6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. 7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. 8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
Thanks. You know, I see the christmas spirit burning with less passion each year, or at least not celebrating Christmas in the wholesome it used to be many years ago, and I want Christmas to return to that period so much! So thanks for some good oldies on a grand piano, one of the most Christmas things
It snows in the video, I've played piano over 30year, you know not everyday, but i can't play like Rousseau, I think Rousseau is a genius in piano. His playing inspired me to start my own channel. Rousseau is my mentor
Times may be hard and things may not go your way. But just remember there is someone looking for you. Someone who loves you and who will do anything for you. Don’t give up time will come to be your way.
Thor who don’t like those songs don’t hav heart or have forgotten about what is like to be loved and love somebody. These are the warmest and tendering I’ve ever heard.
I'm so glad you included the most beautiful Christmas song I've ever heard, "O Holy Night". If that song's sung right, it can bring the most hardhearted person to tears. I sincerely believe this. Why? Because when I hear someone sing it with their heart and soul, it isn't easy for me to keep my eyes dry.
You're a genius! I love the way you play!!! The graphics are amazing. And my infant grandbaby loves your playing even more than I do, it relaxes her. So when she's fretful l I play the first song and she gets very quiet. Just from the first note. Then the second song is her lullaby. The eyes close and she drifts off to sleep. The rest of the songs are for me. I might as well listen to a good thing too, right!? I appreciate you!
Really great music. It already feels like Christmas, but it's November! But, it is close. I bet people are shopping like crazy before everything runs out. Hope you all have happy holidays!

After listening to Christmas music played on a piano that sounded like music from a music box, I am hearing a piano with more than one key hit. I'd like to find a similar one that runs for several hours.
Ah, REAL Christmas music about CHRIST! Thank you. It's not Christmas without Christ. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, goodwill toward men. (KJV, not because it's inspired but because it's unfortunately still the best).
Thank you, Rousseau, for recording ‘O, Holy Night.’ That beautiful Christmas Song is simply the most beautiful along with Silent Night ever written for this wonderful time of the year. It has just made my day, month and year for me.

I think Rousseau's third hand in last christmas is meant to signify the fact that you can sing the melody yourself if you looked up the song. All you have to do is play the other two hands and sing the song.
The silent night one made me cry- It was my friends favorite song as his mother sung it to him every night as a kid- It was actually the last song he sung before he had a heart attack and died shortly after so yeah damn that one made me cry
That Vivaldi style key change in Deck the halls with the grand beethoven style aggressive finishing passage was beautiful switching into a Chopin style ending 👌🏼
I really enjoy the work of Rousseau and this maybe my harsh opinion but... Most of these songs are Christmas Carols which people sing along to, with the fermata and change in tempo, during the music makes it tough for us to enjoy. Watching my family sing along, then get confused what is next. Music is beautiful, thank you.
