This soundtrack made this scene what it was. There is both loss and love in this track. Ser Criston lost something he held so dear to him, his oath, for love. And the music captures that brilliantly.
@@destiny1719 exactly, I've seen a few analysis about episode 4, and they all agree on the fact that depiction on sex here was amazing, sex is more than exagerated gestures or expressions with complicated positions, is an intimate, sweet and passional moment where characters get to explore and satisfy each other. Rhaenyra and Criston's scene is both erotic and tender, their expressions, their movements and the sounds they make, is pure enjoyment. Also, I loved your nickname xD
She would have lived longer but not happier because she already told him that she didn't want to do that.. her father named her and shared a dream with her. And Criston Cole didn't change as a person because of that rejection, that person was already inside him. Just needed something to come out probably
I was hoping you would do this one!!!! One of the best pieces so far, I’m a sucker for lone string pieces, bonus points if they’re written for romantic scenes!!!
This soundtrack made the entirety of this scene. Most likely the best in this show for me so far. It’s just like a cry for help and acceptance. It’s sinking in a moment you’ve awaited for so dearly, patiently, and it’s finally yours. However, there is this ambiguity of not knowing where it would lead to, and that’s what makes it so eerie. It’s like an inevitable death of love.
THIS IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL DIEGO !!!! THANKS FOR BEING HERE AND MAKING THESE GREAT MUSIC. I love that there is a little part of "Aemma's funeral" which is one of my favourite pieces from the serie so far 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Listening to this music by Ramin Djawadi, I believe that the life of a princess is not enviable. And from a fairy-tale life, where everyone loved and spoiled her, mom and dad were nearby, she must step into a new adult life, where she will have to fulfill her duty, where there are losses and disappointments ... and now she says goodbye to her girlhood and moves on to meet your destiny 🖤
I mean this is one of my favorite soundtracks, but I feel away about it right now even if I still listen to it regularly, but Criston’s behavior kind of take away the beauty of the song and the beautiful imagery of that scene. I don’t know if this make sense.
It does. But i also cant help but feel for him. This whole show is set in a time where honour and oaths meant a great deal. It was ones' identity, unlike today. So to lose it completely for something he thought was real.. thats sad. His character has shifted only out of his feeling of being used.
@@kavitamohan19 I disagree because first all of he knew she was the heir and that she would marry eventually someone else. They were at Storm’s End for a reason. It didn’t take him that long to put his honour and oaths aside and do what he did after that. I was just to proud to be “her whore”. He was aware of the position of Rhaenyra and her duty. He didn’t just want to play the game unlike Joffrey and Ser Harwin.
I think Rhaenyra has done nothing but abuse her position and destroyed her family's future out of selfish desire; but that doesn't mean she isn't the rightful heiress. You can have seemingly contradictory positions on characters and remain consistent.
@@AlerieHightower yeah this soukd work for the death of a tragic hero, definitely not for book Criston. Maybe they'll continue giving his character a different angle in the show.

Perhaps. He actually goes die in quite an honourable way really, he backed himself against what 7 other warriors, in a duel. He was ultimately yes killed in the way he lived, in deceit, but I personally think it would be fitting as it might remind the audience that yes he is was bad person in the whole, but there was a man of honour once there, and as Jamie said, he is both the best and worst of the kings guard.

so true.. well defined
You said it all
Cole didn’t love Rhaenyra. He was upset because he gave up his honor and she didn’t want to run off with him. He was always a cunt
This scene was amazing not a single word but you can feel everything
Ramin Djawadi doesn’t miss 👑
When will this be realised on iTunes 😢

The fact that they later became enemies is very sad.
He is her first child's father.. poor Cristin have no idea about this.😅😅😅😅🤪

I agree, everything was sooooo good, the direction , music, acting, chemistry, the shyness awkwardness

hauntingly beautiful and perfect for the scene 🖤
All jokes aside, if she left with him she would have lived happier and would live longer. Also so many lives would have been saved. Tragedy!

Their scene was so beautiful...sadly everything went to sh*t and he betrayed her😭
They both betrayed each other, intentionally and unintentionally :(
I honestly think when his heart was broken. He had enough and went dark further down the episodes.
Yeah, I wonder how their story would have turned out if Rhaenyra had chosen him.
Criston Cole is the only character i truly admire of... Criston is the purest man ever!
