I was inspired by the video but also by your post. I live in Santa Barbara and come up to Cambria every year for Thanksgiving. I surf Moonstone and look out at those pinnacles thinking the for rock fishing must be ridiculous... but not worth the risk of Jaws from a kayak!

Charging it! Brotha, your passion for fishing is infectious. You've got some huge huevos my friend. Northern California on a skiff, fishing for bluefin tuna has a sphincter pucker factor of around 5 but when you bled it and just sat there understandably enjoying a goal conquered, i couldn't help noticing the chum slick of tuna blood behind you. That sent the pucker factor to all time new levels. I'm sticking to a vessel I can walk around on. Props my friend

I go up to Cambria for 4-5 days every year, love how rugged and untamed that stretch of coast is. I surf and admire the rocks sticking up way outside, thinking how epic the fishing must be, but damn it seems sharky. I have done a fair amount of kayak/longboard fishing, but not up there. Stoked on this adventure, good job.
