This process for Logging is very similar across all the Farming Simulator games, there may be small differences in what you see from game to game compared to this video but the logging practices remain very much identical.

For some reason terrain destruction doesn't work for me, any ideas what can be issue? Iam playing with mouse and keyboard, i beindit cab tuning to "Q" and "E" , exit vehicle to "mouse 4" and implement detach to "=" but for some reason sometimes buncher head just detach when i hit Q for cab turning and its pretty annoying especially when i have tree in buncher and tree decide to fly away
Hi, nice videos series been following them but i dont seem to have the terrain destuction script working? on the feller buncher? Also the vehicle mods, have they changed a bit? i noticed that there are slight differances in the names in the store for your mods? thanks
I downloaded the FDR mods and got them all installed. However, I can't get any of the machines to work such as the booms and attachments. I do not have joysticks yet (they're ordered and will arrive in a few days). Will the machines only work with joysticks, or will they work with keyboard and/or controller?
@@BenOfficial94 I'm struggling with figuring out how to set up the controller, mostly because I can't extend the arm and raise it at the same time plus being able to extend the arm and work the claws.
I wish console had better logging mods, I've tried all of the bunchers and the default one works the best, but it only weighs 20 tons so it wants to tip over too easily when you have ~4 tons in your grapples.

I've been a logger 30 year. you do make it easy looking. I'm going to give this a try and see how realistic it is. but it's very cool looking game.
It's easier in person as a operator but it's still fun to play a challenge anyway

I am also having the same issue
the buncher head just keeps mulching the trees down to nothing an di have to turn it off after i cut the tree is there something i am doing wrong

I was trying to cut trees and I don’t have the joysticks but it would not move or anything

Does logging work without joysticks???
I just use a gamepad and it works quite well, just takes a while to set the controls how you like and get used to them.
Yes it works well I do it on controller. Just remember smooth is fast and it's far more immersive because it's not so jerky

Yep thats one of the reasons FDR is not on console, weight restrictions...
