@@ars4455 I'm sure it's going to get better in time, I actually went to a super small scale festival with a covid proof setup about a week ago and it was amazing. Not the same, but still great, especially after so long

I really love snow patrol!
They are a great band. What I find irritating is the constant filming of the faces in the crowd instead of focusing on the band members. A great percentage of this performance was wasted by cameras sweeping across the crowd - totally unneccessary. I want to see each member of the band not a lot of faces in a crowd every other second.

"Chasing Cars" is one of the greatest songs ever written. Snow Patrol one of the greatest bands, so underrated. Gary awesome lead vocals.
Is it just me or do they seem to be doing better than ever before? The performance here was spot on, so tight and powerful.. not only from Gary, but I was amazed by other members as well. Amazing backvocals by Nathan and Johnnny! Really glad to see them in such a good shape.
Gotta say that that show also made me a fan of them, never really had them on my radar - knew few songs and such but not really listened to them - but the performace last week even together with that awesome weather after a day of rain was just perfect!

Gary was still voice-cracking a bit in the beginning, but I guess it was still pretty good
Edit: he got a lot better throughout the performance, he really pulled it together well

Love Snow Patrol and used to know Gary when living in Belfast. Amazing band but absolutely awful sound engineering at this gig. I don’t think people realise quite what an art form sound mixing is to show the musicians at their best. Have a listen on headphones and then listen to their acoustic set for Absolute Radio for comparison.

Rock am Ring has a capacity around 80-90 000 so I'd say maybe 60 000 people :)
