Everyone is saying they’re in 8th grade and getting to play this. I’m in 8th grade and when I asked our director about this piece he said it would be “way to hard”
Our 6th grade orchestra was already the biggest of all and there was no other group in our school (single grade) that was bigger. We're playing this in chamber orchestra, which is 7th AND 8th grade next year!
Beautiful! But not easy to play for youth orchestras. Just listened to a concert by 11-year-olds. This one here is a fantastic interpretation, I think. Sounds like a perfect soundtrack to a dystopic movie.
