Back in October 22, David joined me on Economics Matters -- the Podcast to discuss The Rise or Fall? of Donald Trump. The former President is clearly on the rise. The bookies put his odds at over 50 percent. There is no one better placed to discuss Trump's rise, fall, and potential resurrection than David Cay Johnston -- author of not one, not two, but three books on the former president.

Marc Elias and his law firm are checking all states, and sueing where needed, to get better balanced gerrymandered maps, among other things.

There are mixed messages but today's youth seem mostly to loathe Trump, primarily because of annulling Roe v Wade and also because of his racism. So, the repercussion could be very positive for Democracy. Just because they're furious at Biden because of Gaza doesn't mean they will vote for Trump and hopefully enough of them will realize that to get rid of Trump, you have to vote for Biden.

He's been on Meidas Touch and MSNBC. It doesn't help because they only want him because he's critical of Trump. Heck, he could spout nothing but damned lies about Trump and they'd still want him because they're that petty. Also, The Lincoln Project is a lost cause. They could have been a force for good, but their own conduct reduced them to effectively being a bunch of vapid cheerleaders for Biden. It is clear that we need more safeguards in our system as we see what has happened with both the hyper partisan Supreme Court and with Trump and the Republican Party. Hopefully enough people will realize the danger and turn out en masse to put Democrats in control until we can get this worked out.

Put his name in at the top of the YT search bar and you'll find dozens of interviews with him going way back in time. He also has several books out and his own website. People spend their time watching idiotic sitcoms and sports shows instead of looking for information that's important.

Supreme Court needs to have TERM limits. Congress is slow to implement change. Where are our leaders? Sometimes we live back in the dark ages. We are in the age of AI; need to modernize our justice system. Supreme Court has become political. Needs to be changes so justices aren’t stuck in political arena.

They have to earn that special privilege. Barron had the good luck to have a native-born Slovenian mother who made sure her son has an escape hatch when his daddy goes nuclear. No pun intended. They can go anytime. Donald would likely join them at some point, if he's still alive, when things get too hot for him here. He's a coward. Never wants to pay the band after making them play while he dances.
