33:45 "White's almost up a... mate." These kids are slowly turning into Finegolds.
41:36 Ben knows how to pluralize "doofus" correctly.
Can't be a latin word with that double o in there
Boy was GM Ben on fire with the Tarrasch jokes
His jokes Albin very funny.
More of a pun really 🤓
A laughed so hard at some of the ineractions with the Kids xD
“What is the only think Wilhelm Steinitz and I have in common? I visited his grave.” Incorrect! You both had a world champion at your wedding.
"White's almost up a ... mate."
"That's right! White's almost up a checkmate!"
36:37 I can't believe he doesn't comment on the names - first off it's Adolf against Adolf, and then the surname of the white player means Black (Schwartz), and the black player's name means White (Albin). I've never been so mad!
Patzer sees a Finegold, Patzer clicks a Finegold. 😊
Houdini and jackie robbinson are buried there too. My high school was next to it, going through the cemetery to not get robbed was my go to tactic
Edit: lasker is buried there too
Man, alot of decent old players were named Adolf, what happened to all of them?
Horrible name, reminds me of that tragedy
I've heard one of them killed off the popularity of the name.
They died because old people die.
The name got bad rep, because Titanic was invented by man called Adolf Titanic.
And the ice berg was also named Adolf The Iceberg.
@@dechain1927 9/11?
Love learning from a new player ( new to me that is )
Jan 2020! Just before COVID…
Deep insight
Technically after
Wow, that last game was absolutely savage!
Yeah, the Albin Countergambit is actually a pretty good weapon on club level. If White doesn't know what they're doing, Black gets strong initiative, and even if White knows what they're doing, it's not the kind of position your average Queen's Gambit player likes to deal with.
if Rufus Endoufuss was at Hastings 1895 he would have cooked Pillsbury like a biscuit there too
The Walter tevis book the queens gambit was the basis for the Netflix series the queens gambit many years after it was written. I actually read the queens gambit book and saw the series (I can read). Walter tevis also wrote the hustler which was made into the movie with Paul Neumann and Jackie Gleason. I saw the hustler but never read the book
24:58: Bill Russell
Brother Ben, i watched a lot of you Videos in the last Months. I want to tell you that your a cool guy hands down or up haha
Missed a good opportunity for a canned pastry dough joke there
Whats wrong with saying Go Adolph?
Definitely a lot of Tarrasch-talking in the comments section
take that LMAO
23:49 - It got "Noah" to go. Don't miss the jokes... Terrible...
