These are real nice. Gotta love Nike Stussy Collabs. You can match alot with these. Deftly need repellent on them. Canvas/Hemp tends to get dirty quick. Jordan 1 Mids are a No but AF1 Mids ok
I am from Cape Town, and the sneaker culture here is based on hype. As the rest of the world, everyone is only on the AJ1 lows & mids, and AF1 lows. There are a handful of people who actually work hard to go after and chase their grails and build collections which are pretty impressive. The sneaker culture has influenced me to work hard to collect shoes that I could only dream of or see online. And the sneaker culture has influenced me but more so outfit wise. Having cool kicks with monochromatic fits doesn’t really do anything but only draw the attention to the sneaker. So I try my best to try find clothing pieces to match my kicks and has some look to make the sneaker look the part than to make your fit look the part of your sneaker, if that makes sense lol.
yea man Ive seen your feed ad few others from south africa, it does seem like there is definitely a big community of sneaker lovers there, hope to visit one day
Auckland, New Zealand (Aotearoa). Fairly strong sneaker culture in New Zealand though we don’t get access to a some of the more exclusive drops, (or there’s very limited access). First Jordan was the original Metallic 5s back around 1990…, still like 5s and chase my own preferences rather than influenced by what others wear/want.
Ayh love the videos you put out. and well its a really cool idea to make your channel a bit more interactive. but yeah where I am from in sydney NSW Australia... nothing interesting happens as much as our culture is much more laid back and casual so the most interesting things in streetwear that you see is the "eshays" which is.... um very 'IntEResTInG'. but yeah i usually stem my inspo for fashion from the asian streetwear and dapper styles, which makes me stand out a bit more around here.
I'm from Costa Rica and living in Berlin. I used to travel to New York for shoes and whatnot but Berlin is an incredible city for the hobby and plenty of local streetwear brands too.
Portland Oregon, great love for Sneakers in my city. Pretty cool you’re based in Berlin, definitely a goal down the road thanks for the great content dude!🔥
Barcelona There is a quite interesting sneaker culture, as in almost all Europe. True that the market is smaller and more of a niche, somehow My love for sneakers started when I was a kid, but it reborn when I started consistently buying again in 2012
I just recently moved to Chicago from Cincinnati and the sneaker scene here is way different. 2. Back home we only have a few boutiques people shop (check out corporate got ‘em and unheardof) at for sneakers but in Chicago there are several more sneaker stores although majority of them carry the same thing. Jordan or what they call Mikes here are heavy, Nike Dunks, Yeezy’s, also white Air Force 1’s. 3. It hasn’t really influence my shoe game moving here, I like various brands and try to keep a rotation of different stuff. From Jordan, Nike, New Balance, Non yeezy adidas, Saucony, Bape etc…
1. San Francisco / Bay Area 2. Honestly hard to say. It's super diverse here so it's not like you see sneakerheads everywhere you go. But when I do see sneakerheads it's usually pretty typical AJ1's dunks yeezy 350s. I wish there was more personal style being expressed by sneakerhead commmunity here. 3. Doesn't influence my sneaker choice at all, New Balances excite me most (dad life) but they aren't worn here by "sneakerheads" all that much. Or maybe i just dont see it. Group Chat is a great idea, JD. Between your podcasts and sneaker reviews, and now creating more conversation here, you're really doing a good job in this sneaker space
Af1s ain't for me, but the apparel drop was great. Just got my hoodie and the fit is amazing. Also grabbed another beanie, slightly different to the last ones (smaller logos) but just as nice 🔥
Manila, the “sneaker culture” is more of a “resell culture” bc most ppl in here arent that fashion forward. Dunks sell out all the time but u rarely see em on feet. J1 lows and mids resell faster. Nobody’s willing to do straight up trades. High heat stuff is pretty much unattainable unless u get lucky with snkrs. I’m pretty fortunate that i was able to cop what i like for retail. If i miss out, i move on.
I'm from Dallas, TX and over here the sneaker scene is neat. You got people who love the history behind the sneakers, and love collecting OGs. Then there are those less fashionably gifted and just wear any GR release because they hear that it's popular, so they need to go after it. Overall the scene here is amazing but there is a lot the city needs to do to elevate the scene and community. I feel like Dallas has potential to be influential amongst other cities, states, and countries.
Boise, Idaho No real sneaker scene here to be honest, I’m in a Facebook group that has a bunch of local resellers but that’s about it My love of sneakers was mainly from my childhood and that continued into adulthood. Me and my boss have a good relationship and we share a passion for sneakers so that’s what keeps me going in that regard mostly.
From Karachi,Pakistan We don’t get any kind of hype or special releases. People mostly buy hype stuff from international markets.Currently the most popular shoes here are any jordan 1s and air force 1s
@@JoshDominic there is a certain group of people who are really into sneakers but because there is no access the awareness is less. Sneakerheads here are mostly getting there shoes by shipping which gets very expensive because of shipping costs and duty or they buy it when they are travelling abroad.
Ortisei Italia 🇮🇹, there is no culture just rich snobs wearing expensive sneakers. But it would be nice to have people who you can talk with abouth sneakers, like a discord chat.
im from Oporto and almost everyone rocks the standard air force 1 or nb 574 what is kinda lame, and the stores here we have a major one called bae store but not much
My college in Ohio doesn’t really have a lot of nice sneakers walking around on campus, which I think is good because a lot of times no one else is wearing what I’m wearing, but then again unless it’s a jordan 1 or an air force, no one truly appreciates it
i'm from portugal, sneaker game here is pretty stale, only few sneaker heads, lisbon is a fine city you probably need to revisit the better places i saw your stories on ig i hope you had fun tho
They aren't made to wear everyday none of my AF1 have creases and I don't stuff them. I don't wear them to do physical activities and I don't wear them everyday if they are worn as everyday shoes the toe cap will crease and the sole will discolor on white bottoms
Ayyy. Lilongwe, Malawi. Quiet a poor country so the general public doesn't wear anything named. The middle class guys just wear reps. Reps galore, some wear Jordan/Puma/Converse knock offs, or sneakers from HnM or something. Then the rich kids will wear the most basic designer shoes like the Gucci Ace or something. So all in all, pretty dead :)
The lows seems more comfy than the highs, although that was executed with premium leather lining. Unfortunate, I was underwhelmed with the lining on this pair which I suspect overtime won’t age so we’ll. A great shoe but 🫤
this pair is so nice, i m gonna buy em on the resell market, thanks josh for the dope vid.
they cheap right now man
These are real nice.
Gotta love Nike Stussy Collabs.
You can match alot with these.
Deftly need repellent on them.
Canvas/Hemp tends to get dirty quick.
Jordan 1 Mids are a No but AF1 Mids ok
When they to dirty to clean them, you could dye them in a darker colors so the dirt on them is changing into a pattern in the new color scheme!
I realized all the mids you need to go true to size. A lot slimmer feel on the top of your foot as well.
True for me! I wear 8.5 in lows, 9 in mids
Best way to clean these is never get them dirty 🤔

Good on you bro 💪
Used to wear all white mids all the time in middle school before I moved on to lows…I still really want the fossil lows
I'm from Costa Rica and living in Berlin. I used to travel to New York for shoes and whatnot but Berlin is an incredible city for the hobby and plenty of local streetwear brands too.
yea man totally agree
Nice review, man . Yeah , really like the new Group Chat thing, keep doing it.Makes your content better and more unique.

Portland Oregon, great love for Sneakers in my city. Pretty cool you’re based in Berlin, definitely a goal down the road thanks for the great content dude!🔥
Love your reviews🙏

got these under retail around 130. these are so fire and i agree it’s not worth 360$ just for the lows
Nice cop

1. San Francisco / Bay Area

interesting man, I figured new balances would be more popular in the bay area because it was steve jobs shoe :), thanks for the kinds words
Group chat 💯💯💯 sneaker culture is okay in Strasbourg
thats in northern france right? heard its a nice place
Af1s ain't for me, but the apparel drop was great. Just got my hoodie and the fit is amazing. Also grabbed another beanie, slightly different to the last ones (smaller logos) but just as nice 🔥
grabbed the beanie as well
I just got my pair, I went half size down like you and I can't even strap them smh should've watched this before I bought
these are tight going TTS. Wide feet go up
In India, apart from a select few people who actually like and appreciate sneakers, it's all about "hype" and "resale value". Sad but true.
Just got for $140 after taxes shipping etc. is there a spray or something you would recommend i buy to keep these clean? Thanks for all the vids
Please do review of Jordan’s ❤️

From Karachi,Pakistan

grande fra io ci sono stato ad ortisei, comunque li la gente va in giro con gli scarponi da sci più che con le sneakers
I wonder how these crease
Anyone knows how to clean them properly?
im from Oporto and almost everyone rocks the standard air force 1 or nb 574 what is kinda lame, and the stores here we have a major one called bae store but not much

yea didnt have much time to really visit the city but for sure will be going back
@@JoshDominic yeeee JD
Do these need force fields or anything like that to prevent creasing? Or is that nonexistent on these shoes since it’s not leather
They aren't made to wear everyday none of my AF1 have creases and I don't stuff them. I don't wear them to do physical activities and I don't wear them everyday if they are worn as everyday shoes the toe cap will crease and the sole will discolor on white bottoms

Dude, even the shoes I don't care about, still watch your reviews! Gonna use the word you love so much, I come for the "vibes"
Jesus loves you:) nice vid
So I’ve been saying stussy wrong forever haha. I thought it was st-uh-ssy. Smh

Yea I have the same concern
