    Hello Sir. Really a fantastic video; it's exactly what I was waiting for; I didn't expect anything short from your end. Awesome informative video.
    Can we expect the recession to end by 2024, and will it be hard to find management or analytics jobs? Please cover. If it's a good move for students to move to the US for 1-year master's program, it will be a risk for us rather than a 2 or 3-year course.
    Really Appreciate all your work, sir. Thank you :)

      It’s hard to predict recession duration precisely. No one can, if someone does, he is bluffing. However from the past history, it’s is fair to assume that from 1.5-2 years from now, the ripples of recession will damp down. We can atleast expect that.

      Also according to my plan I would be looking for jobs in 2025 or getting interviews at the start of 2026. So I think it should be safe.

    The scariest thing is comparing with history and talking about averages. If the circumstances are different then we cannot compare with the previous recessions. In 2008 we saw Quantitative Easing now we are seeing the exact opposite that is Quantitative Tightening. It will take YEARS TO RECOVER. Therse will be NO BOOM.

    • @Edflight
      @Edflight  Год назад +2

      Believe it or not, averages and probabilities are good tools that help put things in perspective. Regarding recession, each and every past recession had its unique reason and had posed completely different set of challenges, so this one is no different. The proponents of quantitative tightening are making a lot of sound, I get it, but I guess the economy is a bitch. Only time will tell whether we see a boom past recession or not. Let’s wait and watch.
      But nice thoughts though. 🙏

    want to clarify that this 7% rule is discriminatory against Indians and Chinese. When H1B visas are granted disproportionately to Indians and Chinese, then no one says that there should be a 7% country limit on H1B visas and that people of Indian or Chinese origin should not get more than 7% of the H1B visas. But when it comes to giving Greencards, then they don't want these same people to get Greencards. The lawyers and USCIS make money on this frequent renewal but keep innocent people locked in Greencard hell. They are giving H1B to Indians and Chinese to make them work, but everybody other than Indians and Chinese get the Greencard as the wait is 195 years for Indians and 18 years for Chinese. So get the work from Indian and Chinese and discriminate them. If that is the case US should advise people of Indian and Chinese origin when applying H1B that they have no chance in hell of getting a Greencard!
    Many politicians have talked about Greencard reform in the USA, but nothing has been done for the last 15-20 years. This is like caste, class, race discrimination. The fact that they can discriminate on the basis of the country of birth is downright unfair. But Indians and Chinese mmigrants are only here to be exploited.
    Anyway the de facto message of Republicans and Democrats both is the following: Indians and Chinese not welcome! I only say this to many young students whose only fault is that they have an Indian or Chinese birth certificate. They say US is the land of opportunity. Actually it is The LAND OF DISCRIMINATION. Final message of US Government: INDIAN AND CHINeSE GET OUT!

    Thank you Sir for Wonderful vedio. So you would say, it would be wise to be in longer period of MS atleast for 2years minimum over 1 year. As closing out program by 2024 August might be some panic still. What do you suggest?

    • @Edflight
      @Edflight  Год назад

      Yes, it depends upon the economic condition and how recession shapes itself in coming month. But yes, if USA goes into deep recession, Aug 2023 would be a bad time to graduate, Aug 2024 might be OK. You need to keep an eye on how recession progresses in next few months.
