Imagine recreating the whole Fairhaven map from the 2012 Remake on Map Loader, it would be a dream come true
Imagine also having the cars and bosses from Most Wanted 2012.
Its not a remaster, but a remake or 'sequel'. Remaster would be identical to original game, with visual tweaks like Burnout paradise remastered.
Burnout wanted 2012 is the best burnout game, but not an NFS title at all

Still can't wrap my head around the fact that we live in a time now where map ports, custom maps, and by extension, joke maps like this are gonna finally become a thing. Can't wait for Zolika to add NFSU2 support for this tool! ^^
He's probably working on that. He was able to add random objects there, why the hell not a whole map?

@@nlgxzef I'm talking about the fact that out of all bb era games,mw 05 gets the coolest mods,while all other games,bb or not,always get the shorter stick

So let me get this straight… we waited so long for NFS ToolKit it became vaporware. It then was overwritten by Hypercooled, the mod meant to replace it since it never released. Then Hypercooled takes so long that a new map loader gets made and is actually released.

its because nfsu360 is most likely dead.
Because people have a habit of never releasing tools in the NFS modding community

On stuff that people didn't even cared about back then which is also something i love about it
I'm a little bit afraid that we'd be taking shortcuts with these new work environments, game stability and compatibility is something i've been loving about these recent works, i'd really be disappointed if the game becomes a Skyrim-bis, with scripts that don't belong in the game's engine and introduces new issues on top of getting rid of the original game logic
@@ScarLeRenard You are somewhat right, yes, but, if the original game is so broken, there's only so much we can do with it.
What Zolika is doing here is something that's even better than the original game, by using tech that is available today. That's the beauty of it.
We're trying to keep things as compatible as we go, but sometimes, it holds us back and we have to accept that it simply won't work sometimes so we let it go.
It all depends on the context of what you want to do and how you're gonna do it.
With my own example - XtendedInput runs on an old Pentium 3, because it's a fundemental fix.
XenonEffects I removed a dependency on D3DX9_43.dll to keep compatibility to the maximum. Despite everyone having it installed nowadays.
Those things are easy. But with something like this it's far too complicated to be caring for things like those.
Without waiting for Hypercooled, Zolika is pro at coding the map loader mod without waiting. So nice to see!
Not to mention it took off quickly.

So, basically, somebody could scratchbuild a map and import to MW or even take, let say Underground 2 map in the game. Or is there a size limit? Like could someone make a map that has all the three cities from UG2, MW and Carbon?
AFAIK we are limited with the game memory and a total of 8192 fbx files. I never tried to do one myself yet but Zolika was able to port Liberty City from GTA 3 and San Andreas from GTA:SA. zolika1351.pages.dev/games/nfsmaps
imagine a talented modding team is creating a whole new map with new races aka a totally new career or even game with that
are there any tutorials for this? sure I know how to import an FBX to blender and the 'col' 3d models is probably the collision but I have so many questions :D
If I remember right, there should be one. Also, good news - the maps work with custom races. But I think it will be better to have the game files replaced properly if the map is going to be used for long game plays and stuff.
Now it’s time to port NFS worlds map into MW. And a map maker to combine U2 and world into one map.

@@nlgxzef Its just good to have an option after years of dissapointment first nfsu360 done nothing but showcases and couple ports between mw and carbon just to vanish like he's dead. And hypercooled teams acts like bunch of trolling 12 year olds. Now we got fully functional tool made by single persom who didnt delay things needlessly and just dropped it out there.

Is there a mod tool for UG1 that allows porting maps or creating custom races?
hello bro, I hope you are well... you know I have a problem with the latest version of Unlimiter... what happens is that I had 124 cars added in the game normally, and when I added the car number 125, when I saw it in The dealership looks normal but when you go out and modify it, it becomes invisible... any solution for that? Should I change something in the Unlimiter .ini file or what should I do to make it appear and not be invisible when I modify it?

@@adithyalakku7833 NFS World plus canyons is impossible because of how idioticly close they put both maps together. If you're interested to see how actual combined map concept would look like i can show you my map combining all Black Box era cities.
