Hi Dicianacarvalho Thanks for tuning in again and yea I am currently out of the Olaplex no. 3 and for some reason I can’t even find the crème of Nature Bond mender not even on Amazon so I had to use a sub.
Hey! I love your hair. Just curious though, but why don’t you go to a hairdresser? Have you always been self relaxing? I’m going to self relax next time and I’m a bit nervous about potential burns despite basing
Hi S Wisdom Thanks and Thank you so much for tuning in. So earlier in my relax years I used to go to the salon to get everything done. Then later in 2020 we had locked down in quarantine so I had to start taking Care of my hair myself at that time I realized, wait! my hair had grown from shoulder length to now elbow length. Then the locked down was lifted, and I went back to the salon to get a relaxer done and it was a nightmare. The floor was covered in hair due to pulling, rough combing and mine you it was relaxer day. Or disaster day I don’t know. But since then I realized that ever since I have started relaxing and doing everything else the growth scale has doubled up more than twice its length. But I will advise you since that it’s your first time, you should get someone to assist you so that you don’t have under or over processed areas. And when you feel confident enough to handle it then you can go from there.
@@genesisalex thanks for sharing! Actually, I'm already relaxed for almost 2 years now, and my hair is about 12 inches long. Before this point, I have always gone to a hairdresser to get a relaxer done and while I don't have any complaints about my current stylist, I just want to have more control over the process (eg. Not use the blow dryer AND flat iron on relaxer day since that's overkill), save money, and most importantly, learn how to do it myself just in case something happens and I need to learn. I have accepted that it might not go perfectly the first time but I'll learn and do better the next time!
