500,000 people, one of the worlds top artists, entertaining at one of the most famous and beautiful places on Earth. This day must have been special to those who attended. The magic of music! Elton shared his artistry and connected to each soul that day. I think, how many fell in love that day? Cherished the time spent with friends or simple moments of reflection and the feeling of being alive in that moment. What was your perfect day or moment? Where everything was right, the perfect day with that perfect person. It may have lasted 60 minutes or 60 years but that moment was yours and your heart owns it forever. To the moments in life where we find ourselves in that place of perfection, the moments where everything falls into place and we are everything we are meant to be, even if its just for an instant.

I used to be a rolling stone you know
    If a cause was right
I'd leave to find the answer on the road
I used to be a heart beating for someone
    But the times have changed
The less I say the more my work gets done
'Cause I live and breathe this Philadelphia freedom
From the day that I was born I've waved the flag
Philadelphia freedom took me knee high to a man, yeah
Gave me a piece of mama, daddy never had
Oh Philadelphia freedom, shine on me, I love you
Shine the light, through the eyes of the ones left behind
Shine the light, shine the light
Shine the light, won't you shine the light
Philadelphia freedom, I love-ve-ve you, yes I do
If you choose to you can live your life alone
Some people choose the city (some people the city)
Some others choose the good old family home (some others choose a good old)
I like living easy without family ties (living easy)
Till the whippoorwill of freedom zapped me
    Right between the eyes
'Cause I live and breathe this Philadelphia freedom
From the day that I was born I've waved the flag
Philadelphia freedom took me knee high to a man
Mm, gave me a piece of mama, daddy never had
Oh Philadelphia freedom, shine on me, I love you
Shine the light, through the eyes of the ones left behind
Shine the light, shine the light
Shine the light, won't you shine the light
Philadelphia freedom, I love-ve-ve you, yes I do
Oh, Philadelphia freedom, shine on me, I love you
Shine the light, through the eyes of the ones left behind
Shine the light, shine the light
Shine the light, won't you shine the light
    Philadelphia freedom, I love-ve-ve,
    You know I love-ve-ve , you know I love-ve-ve you
    Yes I do, Philadelphia freedom
    I love-ve-ve you
    Yes I do, Philadelphia freedom
You know that I love-ve-ve you
    Yes I do, Philadelphia freedom
    Don't you know that I love-ve-ve you
    Yes I do, Philadelphia freedom
    Don't you know that I love-ve-ve you
    Yes I do, Philadelphia freedom

Accurately spoken, the first time I saw her recommendation I was skeptical at first but receiving my profit gave me more confidence to reinvest more. And she charges a 10% commission on profit made after every trading session which is fair compare to the effort she put in to make huge profits.

Besides being a fantastic song and an amazing band, I keep coming back to this one thought..that was some really good coke they were on.

    • @alessandriaj7265
      @alessandriaj7265 8 лет назад +7

This is true, coke was a major factor with EJ, but not all of this is from the use of coke, there's a timeline they have to stay in performing, that's why lot of songs are faster tempo than other performances. Fact from a professional in the business. His worse stages of the addiction wasn't even at this point, it went into the mid to late 80's when it peaked, evident by those vids.

Rice Flatpicking Not nearly as good as the free-wheeling, beautiful, and lively notes they were high on. See, let's break it down. "Good coke"=risking, even flirting with death. Music=adding something even more beautiful and purposeful to the rhythm of life...It is embracing life.

@@alessandriaj7265 There's a specific concert from 1984, which I think really highlights how bad his coke addiction got. Charlotte, I think it is. He starts off Bennie and the Jets with "Let's all destroy MTV and be silly", and to be quite honest, I think that if there's one concert Elton would like to see removed for his drug use, it'd be that one.
