Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, or KGB, broke the all-time sack record for the San Diego Aztecs in 2000 and retired as the Packers all-time sack leader in 2008.
16 years later, he’s closer to a cult leader.
This is the story of a football legend who’s quickly going off the deep end, and the people he’s bringing with them.

Christian fella here.
Any dude who claims he has figured out the exact time of Christ's return is FULL OF HORSE MANURE. The Bible specifically calls this out: "No one knows the hour" of Christ's return.
And KGB's "sovereign citizen" angle makes me shake my head. The Bible instructs believers to respect and follow the laws of the land, so they may serve as examples to others (paraphrasing).
And on another note, thank you for maintaining a neutral tone throughout the vid. No inappropriate jokes, no disrespectful jabs at the Bible, no sarcastic quips, etc. Thank you.
He also remarried as his wife was still alive in which he is breaking the Scriptures.
You know whites teach and fund this stuff and he probably got put on with how to run a cult / group by them why I say this because I know plenty of rich wealthy men who has pretty much cult like groups and they use the money / property to have power over others and act as god when their not
@@1223jamezthat is bible
So why don't you see that the bible, Christian religion as well as KGB to be FULL OF HORSE MANURE?
The irony is that according to the very Bible, christ already returned thousands of years ago. Read revelations carefully. Slowly. According to the Bible, he is NOT coming back for a third time. How people miss this is beyond me. The Age of Pisces has concluded.
Me as this progressed:
1. Dude converted to Christianity.
Cool.
2. Dude started a prayer group with teammates.
Cool, if people are interested.
3. Dude is becoming the preachy guy on the team. Hope it didn’t become too annoying.
4. Dude is now the Packers self-appointed of arbiter who is or is not going to heaven. I.e., he has developed God complex. Not cool.
5. Dude starts a cult. Oh shit.
6. Takes the sovereign citizen bs in court. Oh boy, I hope this doesn’t turn into Waco
It won't turn into Waco if the government isn't dumb. Waco only happened because of a combination of government incompetence and aggresivness
I was thinking the same thing another David Koresh! I’m a Bible believer and this man is pure evil!
You know whites teach and fund this stuff and he probably got put on with how to run a cult / group by them why I say this because I know plenty of rich wealthy men who has pretty much cult like groups and they use the money / property to have power over others and act as god when their not

Lol. Lick the boot. Reminds me of the right to bear arms is just words. Cause when the govt goons show up to your house, you better not be bearing arms.
The sudden shift in tone from the intro to the ad read gets me every time 😂
As a lifelong Catholic and someone who went to Baylor University and had to take religion classes there I can with full conviction say there is no such thing as an Old Testament Christian. That's like claiming to be a seafood eating vegan.
I’m not a religious person but this is the first time I have ever heard the term “Old Testament Christian” in my life I don’t even think my grandma has heard that before and she’s 91 years old.
@@videogamevalley7523that's because it's not a thing. There is never any mention of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, it is what the Hebrews hold as their sacred text and to them the messiah or the son of God still hasn't arrived.
I'm trying to understand; as far as I understand, that would make you a Jew?
@@videogamevalley7523it refers to Christians who interpret the Bible literally, and also the difference in tone between the old and New Testaments. Old Testament god is the brimstone and fire type, god uses direct actions on people, worship him and only him or else. They also sacrificed animals and crops. The New Testament god effects the world in more indirect ways, forgiveness, no physical sacrifices, more symbolic
@@braydenleis4735if you just follow the old testament then by definition you can't be a Christian because Jesus Christ is introduced in the new testament and broke the old covenant. You might as well just call yourself a renegade Jew
If Aaron Rodgers thinks you’re cookoo then you’ve hit another level
Who knows. Maybe these encounters sent him down that path.....🤔
Lol. Hows that jab (or 3) treatin you?
Aaron is less crazy than you. But then again youre a normie and believe everything presented to you by the television and culture so to you youre killing it
Praiseland was also the name of Ned Flanders theme park in The Simpsons (S12E9)
😮
That’s probably where he got it from. Africans are lame like that.🤷🏾♂️
A way better comparison, too. Modern Flanders, that is. This guy ain't no Elvis.
"Simpsons did it"
In Nigeria, this religious cult upbringing is pretty common. I had seen so many Nigerian religion scams on FB I lost count. His whole little "kingdom" will come crashing down very fast. It is already impacting him in the court system. The SovCit game never works, and never will.
Scamming and lying is their national sport!😆
I knew when I saw the title that this would be about KGB. The guy was all over the news here in Green Bay a couple years ago because of all this cult B.S.
As a Christian, it's sad when I see people use God as an excuse to do messed up things. Not only is it not Christian, but these people push nonbelievers away from true Christianity (like arod in this vid)
All I had to hear was “sovereign citizen” to know this guy was as big fn joke 😂
The same bull others have tried to pull😂😂😂😂😂😂
These types of stories should be part of a series called the CTE chronicles. The CTE chronicles : what will chronically concussed millionaires do THIS time? This was a great episode of the CTE Chronicles.
I agree completely. Both horrifying and fascinating. I’d love to see more videos like this too.
Except labeling something "CTE" is wrong because we can't know until they're dead. It's been such an over used term that it's now a literal joke. Look at AB with #CTESPN. Plus using a medical condition as a name for a series to make profit seems disrespectful.
@@rexblade504 I think one could argue it is just more prevalent than we thought it could ever be. The brain is not meant to be concussed once. Let alone twice, or repeatedly.
It seems like we are figuring out some sports are not compatible with the human body. Hitting each other each and every play like a car crash is going to produce massive amounts of CTE.
Even soccer headers, boxers, pitching over 100 mph, etc. We are being faced with the limitations of the human body and we are choosing to ignore it.
@@edd5883 I'd argue we are actually overstating and exaggerating the prevalnce and dangers of CTE. Safety rules and equipment are getting better and only a small amount of pro athletes actually end up developing CTE. We can't live in bubbles afraid of life. CTE doesn't even seem serious anymore because whenever a pro athlete does anything eccentric, everyone starts spammig "CTE". Saying someone has CTE without having anyway of knowing is just downright disrespectful
Are you a doctor?
I thought this would be Reggie white, since it was about “sack leader”.
Also the abbreviation of his name being KGB is hilarious.
Also, I almost thought this was Akbar GbajaBiamila, who hosted American Ninja Warrior, for a second.

He didn't have nearly the same success in the NFL as Kabeer, but he has gone on to announce for American Ninja Warrior among other things. I've actually interacted with Akbar on Twitter a bunch of times and as far as I can tell, he doesn't seem to be the same way Kabeer is)

My mother is a regular watcher of The Talk, of which Akbar is a member of the cast. He seems to be very grounded, very personable, and a great guy to be around.
Being a Packers fan my whole life it’s so nice to hear the name Ty Montgomery he was like the Christian McCaffrey before Christian McCaffrey was in the league. He was the running back we had before Eddie Lacey, and he was like a wide receiver at running back. It’s so cool to hear that name again. I haven’t heard it since I was a 14-year-old boy
What a locker room, KGB shouting about god and Aaron going on about conspiracy theories
He had such a a cool football name.
Another Simpsons prediction come true - Praiseland. Except Neddy didn't build it

I loved kgb as a player but I didn't know he had all this going on
ESPN does a "30 for 30" about Reggie While, and FPV counters with this. Fascinating.
Crazy that his initials are KGB
Wana get rich, start a business, wana get wealthy, start a religion 😂
Its ALL bs
The biggest red flag here is the term "sovereign citizenship." That mixed with religion should tell you all you need to know about his mental state.
I don’t think CTE is the biggest culprit here. In my experience within the sports world and the church, this breed of confidence and the aggressive, focused pursuit of all things is a highly valued and celebrated thing. It produces results, it pushes you to your limits and makes you a person who others aspire to be. The problem is that it goes toxic so easily. People with so much confidence and achievements under their belt, rarely have the ability to self reflect and humility to to trust others cirques
I think people need to stop attributing everything weird an athlete does to CTE.
I remember that time the cops pulled my dope out of my pocket. I tried to explain to them that I have my own laws that are superior.......

Compound in Tennessee...
Sounds like Waco 2.0 if this continues and gets out of control
The new age of Jim Jones. I was a little boy when Jonestown massacre happened, hopefully this doesn’t have the same outcome. I was in Indianapolis with KGB in 2000 for the NFL combine and since I played defense we both were in the same group (Group 2) and I never really heard KB speak on religion. I knew he was really strict about dating one woman, but that pretty much was it. Last time I spoke with him was 2015 because he was filing for a medical exemption from the league and we both used the same office out of Jacksonville. I was telling him that I got married, and my wife is from South Carolina and she graduated from South Carolina State and he offered us to attend a couple of sessions in Walterboro. But I told him that my father in law was a minister himself and he owned his own church. He was trying to convince me to give Tebow his information since I’m a Gator, but I told him that I don’t know Tim that well and only seen him when we have Gator Alumni Day and I just shook hands with him and kept it moving. It’s crazy, because when I first met KB I would have never thought he’d go to the deep end
If Aaron Rodgers thinks your crazy... that means something.
KGB was preaching the truth up until shortly after changing the name of his place to "straightway." Thats when this began to really go off the rails.
I saw the last name and immediately thought you were talking about Akbar, the _American Ninja Warrior_ co-host. I didn’t watch football during the 2000s, so this is the first time I’m learning about Kabeer.
Same I was like the ninja warrior guy is in a cult?😮
I'm a KGB fan now. Let's go!
There was an Aztec running back that supposedly joined a cult when he had a chance to go to the NFL. I wonder if this is the same cult 🤔

It's funny how they call themselves that name lmao. He can't even take one inch of research to find out who he is and what his tribes are based off of his family records and see who he really is. Now, today's so called "african" americans are not even african because they were misnomer'd by the government for labeling them as that just so they can hide their hidden identity away from them while having full control of this land and make it as their own america with a ku klux klan manufactured flag (🇺🇸) and set up rules and regulations for their own gain.

“In an interview with ABC's 20/20, White made comments about gays and lesbians. White became an ally of organizations opposed to homosexuality; he appeared in a newspaper advertising campaign to convince gays and lesbians that they could "cease" their homosexuality. As a result, CBS withdrew a five-year, $6-million contract for being a part of The NFL Today because of his statements calling homosexuality a sin.”
I know a ton of Israelites, and this is the 1st time i ever heard them referred to as a cult. The ones i know are actually some good brothers
Israelites are Jewish, this nutcase thinks he's an "old Testament Christian" who is above the law. As a Christian who says the Bible is the infallible Word of God, I see this as a guy cherry picking Scripture to fit his God complex. The fact that his wife had to call the cops to leave the house speaks of how unbiblical he was (Ephesians 5:22-33).
I'm not much for organized religion (mainly due to people like KGB) but just realizing he and Aaron Rodgers were in the same locker room explains so much. It just sounds exhausting.
You know something is up when Aaron Rodgers is the sane one in the conversation.
Rodgers is so based its refreshing. Do you still wear 2 masks and face shield?
@kenw2225 gtfoh. Rodgers has became a whack job. U can call covid fake all u want...but seeing how my father who almost died and had to have 2 new lungs after covid..I will believe it was real. And dangerous. Rodgers is a nut and seems u are too. We all can't have a solid head on our shoulders.
Beware of those that make evil good and good evil. Look around if you find yourself agreeing with the majority of men , you are in the wide road, and your programming tells you where that road eventually leads.
@@Mark73172 You’re right, you should do the opposite of what the majority believes at all times so you don’t become a sheep. And since the majority of people believe breathing oxygen keeps you alive, you should keep that rebellious fire burning and stop breathing.
So a church like this can exist but one where people peacefully consume hallucinogenics like mescaline or ayhuasca to commune with their dieties is illegal? What does freedom of religion actually mean?

I think the end of this explains more of the situation better. Really has nothing to do with religion, but the fact that so many pro athletes struggle with what to do with their lives after they’re playing days are done. Head trauma doesn’t help. Junior Seau for example

Hey KGB, there’s TWO testaments of the Bible. Red flag-if you separated from love ones or can’t leave a “religious” group, run like the wind!
I'm so glad I'm an atheist and I don't get involved with any of these religious cults. Honestly religion is incredibly corrupt but the thing is yes it is for sure that religion can teach you some really good values and morals. The problem is people use it as a crutch and sometimes they use as a crutch to do terrible things and say well they're doing a righteous thing based on what their religion says.
I'm not going to judge somebody based on their religious beliefs because they can believe what they want to believe, but for somebody to just decide that anyone who isn't part of their religion is evil or corrupt and they want to convert them against their will and all this crap I am completely against people like that. KGB did this to himself.
