@danieleuditi is back, and this time it’s the ultimate comfort food. Ziti Bake, just like a ‘taste of Sunday mornings’ in Italy with his grandmother.

More of this guy please 👍🏼
Looks like heaven on a plate! I’m going to make it for my family tomorrow!!
He is such a treat, loved every second :-)
I fell asleep with this on and it was giving me the weirdest dreams!! 🤣
OMG … Italian food magic at its best
Come non desiderare a mangiare così ? ❤❤❤❤
Shout out to the editor, this was slick.
the absurd heat from the oven completely warped the baking tray lmaoo
Wont passata remove the cast iron season since it is acidic?
Not at these temperatures but if you leave it in the skillet to cool it will mess with the seasoning. Although with the pizza oven it's a very simple thing to re-season cast iron
Anyone know the opera song at the start?
❤❤❤
GOOD
I want
Nothing quite like an absolutely burnt baked ziti.
Not sure where he was going with this burnt dish full of iron flavor.
The flavour is in the charring. 😇
Don’t use tomato sauce on your cast iron unless your goal is to eat cast iron seasoning. It’ll strip it right off. 😊
Not sure that’s true. I deglaze and cook with all kinds of acidic liquids in a cast iron and has never caused the seasoning to come off.
Yeah it is totally fine to cook acidic foods in a cast iron as long as you clean it after! We do it all the time
I agree with that 100%. I tested it, too; any tomato dish cooked in my ancient and well-seasoned cast iron had a flavour tinge (basically tasted of iron) and affected the seasoning. It's why we use enamelled pans for this kind of cooking.
Seasoning is not some sort of priceless, magical substance. Take it off? Put it back on.
Just giving to people free oven to advertise and support your brand is not faire!
I have one build from you and is cheesy and not cooking consistent!
My kids would never eat charred pasta like that.
Ricotta 🤮
