medibang paint has served me amazingly well over the past two years. i found it at a time when i was in between programs and just wanted something free and functional. for such a simple program, it really surpassed my expectations and it’s been absolutely wonderful making art with it and sharing that art with the world. above anything, i really hope that my drawings and my videos have demonstrated that you really don’t need an expensive program to start making digital art. with all that said, i have reached a point in my ‘artistic journey’ (bleh so cheesy i know) where i feel medibang paint no longer meets my needs. over the last two months or so, i’ve been making the gradual transition to photoshop cc and will be using it from now on. i’m currently still trying to figure out my new workflow and painting techniques, so bear with me as i sort that out. i’m sure anyone who has had to switch programs knows it can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. i really hope to continue improving my art and showing my process with everyone. i definitely plan to make some videos showing my photoshop set up and the brushes i use! thank you for reading this and i hope you enjoy the speedpaint
So ur telling me that medibang was free without paid membership, I’m broke and want to explore more programs but they all seem to have hidden money stuff no matter how much research I do on them
Yeah definitely. I found you when you first started your RUclips channel when you still used Medibang, and was blown away by the fact that you could use a free program and make your artworks look so flawless. I thought that you had no need to change programs, but like you said, we all change and switching programs was very important in your journey. And I feel as though this is because your art has improved so much and with that you needed to be able to improve and medibang was probably just holding you back from that. Anyways enough cheesiness and repeating what you said, I think this drawing was amazing and your style of drawing and painting has improved so much
@@englishrose4562 honestly it took me a while to get use to photoshop and my process was veryyyy slow to begin with haha x'D also i wasn't sure if my tablet could handle operating both photoshop and screen recording at the same time, so i thought i'd take a brief break from recording to get used to the program first ^u^
Stunning! There's something about the composition of the colors which work so incredible well. Red/orange & green is such a fantastic combination. You've been an inspiration since I found you over half a year ago, providing inspiration to push me further every day. Thank you for making these videos!
Yesss your back! I think I prefer this piece to some of your previous ones - the way you managed to get the soft dappled sunlight kind of lighting on the creatures back looks really lovely and creates such a fun and peaceful environment. And I can’t wait to see your process on photoshop :3
So, I just recently found your channel, a month or two ago. I was in a tough spot with backgrounds, and you actually really helped me learn to make them a bit better! To me, you helped me realize that you don't need expensive mumbo-jumbo to make art- it's the artist, not the program! And even though you have now moved on to Photoshop, I will still stubbornly see you as the "medibang artist that helped me improve my own art". So thank you. -Also the drawing is hella pretty
Ahhhh, you finally uploaded! This is so amazingly beautiful! I will admit, it is a bit sad to see you part ways with Medibang, but I'm excited to see what new doors have opened for you now that you are using Photoshop!
I just want to say, thank you, thank you for showing me that I don't need expensive program to make a Wonderfull piece of art. You truly are and inspiration to me! Thank you! I live your videos so much and you inspire me! much love from your fan!
Jax back at it again with absolutelly amazing artwork! I love every single one of your pieces, and it makes me so happy that I've chosen the path to become a professional illustrator, taking inspiration from the masters, such as yourself
Yuss, you uploaded again! I was waiting to see the progress in your recent artworks cause they look so amazing!! Keep doing what you do and never give up 💕^^
Man, your art has improved SO MUCH, and you started painting with photoshop just recently, i imagine what you can do when you get the mood of the program. Congratulations! Medibang for now is all that i love and need, and you are right, we don't need super expensive programs to make good art, the prove of it is that i use medibang in my cellphone, and my art i believe is truly beautiful and detailed for ONE SINGLE ART CELLPHONE APP, THE POWER OF THIS LITTLE THING IS INCREDIBLE!, however i seriously need a computer XD thank you so much for the inspiration and lessons. Be proud of you! ♡♡♡♡
I love your art so much! i dont know if u remember me but a year ago u gave me tips on realistic art, now i started my own channel n post my cartoon art n some my realistic art! hope someday ill be as good as you :)
Homestly, you deserve so many more subscribers. Your art is beautiful, and you seem to improve on every speedpaint!!!!!! Continue with the amazing work!❤️
please do a brush tutorial and a painting process video in photoshop,i really like the way you did this piece, and i want to learn,i want to use your brushes if i can,Also your art improved since the last video, idk if its because you changed to photoshop, but it looks really good, and amazing and aaa,you are still my idol in art,my senpai, and such,i love you and your art
Hi there, have you figured out about the brushes used? I wanted to know their names since I downloaded the Kyle's megapack from the description in his other vídeos!
i know how you feel about transition, i did it twice, i went from MS paint to Fire alpaca, then i went from Fire alpaca to Medibang. i was going to go to paint tool sai, but that only works with a drawing tablet, which i dont have
I also made a switch from medibang to photoshop a few month ago because my artstyle had changed a lot and I needed more color correction tools. I hope you will continue to make your awesome art! :D You are a big inspiration
Oh my gosh this is absolutely stunning!! I can’t even!!! I swear this is absolute art goals!!! I was wondering if I might ask a question? I’ve been studying your speedpaints and art pieces to try and pick up some skills to develop my art? anyway, there’s one thing I notice that you do, I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but I was wondering if painting whilst zoomed out of the canvas is beneficial? Because I notice that when you paint, you spend the majority of the time zoomed out while putting the colours in and setting up your lighting and shadows, then zoom in to add texture to the fur and the details? Idk though... if it’s a legitimate tool, I was wondering if it’s a certain technique that you learnt or if it’s just habit?
Aahh this is beautiful! You'll never seize to amaze me. I have a question, though, can I have permission to make a community (amino) based on your channel? I looked for an amino about you and there's none! You deserve more attention •ω• ♡

What brushes did you use?
These are custom brushes? I’m a beginner and I’m so interested to find the “perfect” blendable brush
Aww so cute and pretty! I want to pet it :>
What time did you end this? Because I would take 2 hours then send it unfinished and act like i did finish it lol.
Anyways insane job.

What plug-ins are you using here? Or are the brush previews and color triangle always there and im just dumb?
What the biggest difference between Medibang and Photoshop in terms of tools, workflow, and overall experience?
Is that a nguruvilu? Half fox half serpant/snake? Or us it something else, idk I'm just obsessed with mythical creatures. XD
i want the mobile studio pro so bad 😭😭

At only 0:37 the drawing is beautiful and I would be satisfied. And yet, I cannot get that far. XD
My shading skills need work.
What 3rd party color wheel is that?
it's a new colour wheel feature in photoshop! just make sure you have the most up to date version and you should be able to choose it ^u^
