You are basically my bass instructor and yet we have never met. Through your outstanding covers such as this one, I have learned to play bass fairly well. Thank you so much Constantine! I am truly grateful.
Thank you Walter for the kind words and for supporting my channel. It means the world to me. Cheers
Thank you Costas!
Upside down lefthanded bassist on a right-handed bass, this is exactly what I needed! Thank you!!
One of the best bass lines, ever! Nice!!!!
dreamer...
I was gonna ask if you knew this song and here it is! This is my favourite song ever. It has everything that you need in a song - love those Canadians !
Excellent choice.. the Bass line really makes the song so great.. It was a awesome tune to start the 80's with. I still can remember the lead singer Mike Reno and those shiny Red pants he would wear. LOL.
Cheers.
Right on point!. So many songs are made great songs by the distinctive Instrumental parts of the song. Most of the time we know the song after a few notes are hit.
Right on, I'm a guitar player just appreciating the bass. Well done
Gracias, Constantine. Saludos desde Ciudad Juárez.
amazing, a great tribute to Scott Smith , he was a wonderful bassist
I suffer from "Isslamowphobia". The fear I will never play bass as well as Constantine Isslamow! ;-)
Love it. Thanks for the kind words. Cheers
This is a great Bass song you rocked it out big time love your Steve Harris P Bass !!
One of the bass intros ever, thanks for covering!
You bet!
I love how you play the slides. You don't rush it and get right back in the main bass line.
Good Old Jam from back in the day. Thumbs Up
Just got a bass and started learning this song. Been playing guitar for ages so more comfortable with a pick but holly crap the strings are miles apart. Now I understand why bass is typically played with fingers
That Bass is very shiny!! Nice job!
you are iconic thank you
super Bravo
your like so calm through out the whole tune . goodjob .
Legend
Nice bass!
you make it look so easy. I have funked up fingers!! Not as much dexterity as I used to have.
I don't believe it can be played any better !!!!! surpurb playing thank you for the video
The right hand technique is really cool on this song. Clean playing!

Dude, I love your videos! So clear and helpful. You're a smooth bass player.
Thank you for this recording. Very helpfull. Greets from the Netherlands!
Excellent as usual Constantine! I like how you use your thumb on the E string. The bass line sounds easy but once I saw you nail it, I don't know if I should even attempt to try and learn it. Keep on rockin' and posting your great covers!
Best base line ever. So Rad... Great job brother you should smile and get into it..never seen a stone cold facial expression when that track is played wow ! Didnt think it could be possible lol
Awesome as always!!!!!!

Very good! Great bass cover video!
Great Job! You make it look easy!
Awesome cover!
Shoulda known Constantine would have a cover out. Awesome job and thanks friend.
Your very welcome dspencer1969 and thank you for supporting my channel.
Nicely done . . . Thanks.
Nice!! Thank for sharing your vids.. a great help!!
My second song to learn on the bass.. I have been playing guitar forever. I know the fretboard, I am just trying to figure out how to use my picking fingers and thumb! Great video as it really helped me out! THANKYOU!
I really don't think about my thumb. I find it easier for me to mute the string after hitting the note with my thumb so my hand does not need to change positions so playing the octave feels comfortable for me. Cheers and thanks for the support.
Octave power!
great cover rock on man!!
Excellent.
Great job on the double notes latter
NICE job! CHEERS! :-D
Thanks for the PDF... If your still online...cheers
good tune.
Very nice ! I'd like to hear it in a slap fashion as well ! A little more funky ..
💯
You nailed that shit. Great playing.
Constantine, u man...smooth, effortless & makes me go get mine & play! "Thank-YOU" :)
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Smooth as fuck. You rock. Love it.
You rock! I just learned Rosanna by Toto ,and I have some work to do on the slap, but otherwise it sounds good. I would like to hear you play it.
Great song to cover. I personally cannot slap but would love to play it. Good luck with it. Cheers
Constantine, What are you doing to caused the main music to drop out when you come in? Because I'm trying to do the same thing as an electric guitar player because people cannot tell me apart on certain songs. You nailed it especially with the grunge. Don't ever stop your videos I have a special request the song bad company from self titled album bad company.
If I look at my mixer, I have the audio from the song set at 50%. I have my bass signal set at around 75%.
sometimes the signal from my bass is too much and really cuts out the original music a bit more than I wanted. Always best to watch while wearing headphones.
@@ConstantineIsslamow Thank you very much for the clarification. Normally when I play I run the aux cable out of the phone to the Guitar amplifier and blend. I just like how that sounded on your end. Great video
an interesting technique. Was it hard to master?
+Krieghandt Using my thumb came very earlier from learning from a classical guitar book. The thumb is called (P), so that is really how it started. Works really good when doing triplets also. Cheers
Толик с прибором?
Someone turned him lose in the pie factory
I even laughed at this :)
heheheheeeee
GO FATBOY GO!!!!!
+James Martin
Rude.
sdrury01 haha but he's got talent
+James Martin he's a good bass player...and he puts up some cool videos.
Though Constantine seldom spoke much and was rarely ever on time, when he finally did enter the room he could illicit more confessions from criminals than any other detective in the entire bureau. His stress reliever is music. He has talent that inspires, yet calms.
Love it. Thanks :)
Meh, not the right tone
noch ein bischen üben... aber schon der richtige scheiß
Thank you Bass Master!!
