Can we just acknowledge that this was more than just a first solo sail with every boat task whirling in yr head, but with a second job of achieving amazing cinematography. Well done for doing both well.
Great episode mate. The Passport is amazing. Good to see you both following individual and together passions. Sometimes a hard thing to do, but important for the individual and the couple.
Great videos. I sail solo all the time, all over the great lakes. Heading for the Caribbean in less than 2 months. Quite enjoyable. You left the main haly'd lying on the deck. That's a no-no. If that's long enough to reach the prop, it could be problematic. Keep up the good work. Take care of that lovely wife.
Great to see you again!!!!!You are a young very promising RUclipsr, find a new love, have as many adventures as you can but don't ever stop documenting your incredible life at sea.
great video series Parker, I stumbled upon your channel and looked at the episode where your bought Boundless and then started from the first episode up to today. Love the content and how you fix issues as they arise and production. Katy makes a great shipmate! Sea Wind was a great start, Boundless gives you much more room and is more of a home. Keep them coming. The attention to detail is impressive too. Cheers Nico (UK).
Nice episode Parker. I think you are correct. It's critical to support each other whether you are together or pursuing an activity independently. Congrats on the solo sail!
Well done young Jedi, systematic approach to the boat, great shots and edit too. I remember my first solo sail and my first solo flight. Milestones in our lives. Treasures.
I don’t see a keeper line to prevent your anchor from dropping while underway. ... attach a line to the turnbuckle on the anchor. That’s incase the mechanical lock fails while underway , especially in bad weather which is, of course, when it will happen.
I accidentally saw your video, where you asked to subscribe on your channel and decided to do that. Both of you are very nice coupl. Hallo from Russia.👋
Too bad you missed out on the singlehand experience on the Seawind II without all the emenities you have now. Things do happen much slower on a larger boat, less scampering fore and aft. Boundless is set up pretty nice for singlehand, now test yourself alone in a blow!
if you keep it on the head, something could catch the halyard (wind, usually) and pull it up causing tearing or chafe. I usually belay the shackle to the pulpit or a padeye on the deck. That distinction is probably less important than taking it off the head of the sail, though.
beginning of the video was like an ASMR but for my eyeballs.( 👁 ͜ʖ 👁 ) it's amazing how that significant other can sometimes make you or both of you achieve things you never thought possible. alone one can achieve but together we can conquer. ¯\_( • ‿ • )_/¯
man you dont need no one for by happy, stop put your hapines in another person one day a week becomes weeks, moths, years... in my viwe you dont need no one for travel arond of the word if you wnat, i see a girl her name is laura landers i think she make alot travels complet alone!! sorry dont is my main language.

You both are truly inspirational and we are hoping when Kattie boards again, she could instruct us with Yoga on the foredeck. Brilliant!

Great video Parker. I admire your strength, sail long. Funny about fish in the sea, good help will come to you. Keep your eyes open, we are with you.
You are a good person. Keep living your dream.

I like that you change it up (as in your format). Pity RUclips algorithm doesn’t.

Great video! Your great cinematography told the story without uttering a word!
I bet you really like that electric windless
The video of the heron perched on your railing was fantastic! Love the bird shots!

😊😊 Thank you Parker 💕❤
Good job.
A very nice episode. Thanks! Cheers.
Loved this episode. Thank you.
How long would it take to solo sail from the panhandle to Limon CR? Do you just anchor while you’re sleeping?
So you weren’t totally alone a resting bird was with you Nice job very smooth and professional beautiful day too
Nice video! I liked it a lot.
Sailing solo, unless you’re racing it’s slow, slow, solo - deliberate, planned.
I don’t usually have room or patience to up anchor so slowly.

It makes no noise away from the mast
Are you still in Costa Rica as of today? I'm in Costa Rica too staying in Uvita, not on a boat but on land.

All the Coffee Cups I use when sailing-solo on Lake Michigan have Lids! ⛵️
gloves might save a little wear & tear on the hands raising that main. (just a thought) be safe
I sailed a 30k boat alone today, like many days.

Still sailing in smaller boats, what is the purpose of clipping the mainsail halyard on the sailpack instead of just leaving it on the mainsail?

I would hazard a guess and imagine it prevents the shackle from annoyingly banging against the mast while anchored out.
@@MrLeventdelamort nah, the headboard is under the sail cover so that wouldn't be possible
What kind of bird was that at 7:23 mins
Bear throated tiger heron
