Keep magnets away from them as well . Using my fat wrench to tighten my action screws did magnetiz the ball bearing in the trigger. Still best triggers I have used ! God bless
Hi Benjamin! Wow, never thought of the magnetic issue...Thanks for pointing that out and I've pinned your comment here. And thanks again for watching my friend!
Great video, I'd add one recommendation on setting the sear-- take the barreled action out of the stock or chassis when you are smacking the bolt around and just hold it in your hand. The stock or chassis adds a lot of mass and reduced the acceleration acting on the trigger. So what's safe with just the barreled action is much safer with the the thing mounted into the stock or chassis. Lots of guys don't account for this and have their sears set quite a bit "safer" than is necessary for perfectly safe operation.
Great video! The travel you are referencing is "over travel" why over travel is important is because with a firm wall you will be influencing the rifle during the shot. The over travel is built in for fluent follow throughs.
Hi Zach! Yeah, the term eluded me during the video but thanks for that clarification and its importance. I'm pretty used to the trigger now and still love it. Thanks for watching my friend!
I tuned my bix and andy just off feel. Its crazy how after the take up and I load up on the wall. When breaking that wall it did not feel lile a break to me. Its kinda like instead of a break it's like it just dissappears. Freaking crazy
Hi Juliet Alpha! Yeah, I'm still loving the trigger for sure and actually that after shot take up makes me focus on bringing the trigger back to me in a straight line...Love it! Thanks for watching my friend!
I've read others on multiple forums that they are impressed with B&A triggers. I ordered a TT diamond 2 stage on my Vudoo that will be in my hands by the end of June. Ugg..... :(... long wait
Hi Brian! Yeah, a lot of the shooters in both centerfire and rimfire are going to 2-stage triggers now. I've gotten used to the single stage which is why I stuck with it. Thanks for watching my friend!
@The 4GunGuy absolutely my pleasure. Enjoyed learning about it. I did just get an Anschutz 1761 22wmr with their SS trigger and set at 6.3 oz. It's the best trigger I have ever used by far. German precision at its finest. It will be interesting to see how I like the TT diamond. Never shot one, so I will see.
Hi ARob! You'll love it, especially if you ordered that Gator Grip shoe. Just remember that there is some overtravel after the break, unlike the TriggerTech which stops at the break...Just something to get used to but nothing negative. Watched your channel and sub'd by the way! Thanks for watching my friend!
There is a difference between take up and creep. My take is creep is seer disengagement until break, and take up is travel until disengagement begins. Is that what you mean?
Hi Dragonfly! I see your point. I guess to me it all happens so quickly that I just bundle creep and take-up as one thing...Before the break, and over-travel as after the break, but I understand what you're saying and the detail of the two. Hey, thanks for watching as usual my friend!
@@The4GunGuy thanks for the info and quick response. I would use this trigger in a Tikka T3X CTR that I use for target shooting and hunting with a 1 lb pull. Would you recommend or agree with that use?
@@kevinn6178 I would also decide on whether you want a single stage (like mine) or a two stage trigger. For hunting, I'd go with a two stage, but I like the single stage for target/PRS competition, but that's just my preference. 1lb is a good weight. If you practice a lot and want to go lower, you can...If you don't practice or shoot a lot, I'd stick with the 1lb. Again, just my 0.02.
Hi Danny! I totally understand the allegiance to TT and I'm right there with you. If my TT hadn't messed up during a practice session on day, I'd be using them in my rifles still today...The crispness of them is excellent. But I do have to say that the BnA's are running great and the one thing I love about them is the fact that I can take them apart for a total cleaning. Thanks for watching my friend!
@The4GunGuy just purchased new fierce firearm it came with one, and I'm just not impressed. To much travel before it brakes, but if you been shooting factory triggers then you might can deal with it.. thanks for info !

Not “slapping” the trigger is still something I’m working on every match, it’s made a HUGE improvement on my shooting. Great video Tony!
Thanks Travis!

Good learning. What BixnAndy trigger is that?
Hi Kevin, it's the Tac Sport Pro with the wide Gator Grip. Thanks for watching my friend!

where can i pick up one of those mag chamber flags?

I'll trade you brand new bix n Andy for the trigger tech... in my book you can't compare
