Thanks and awesome video. Just ordered it.
It must have felt like you were pulling forever on that 4# trigger. But I am of the belief it is the quality of the pull rather than how light it is. There are some who, in my opinion, use a super light trigger as a crutch rather than work on improving their fundamentals.
Nice. Thx. I think I will give one a try on my Solus barreled action. Price is right, cheaper than a TT Special.
Didn’t see the Gen 2 on their website. May still get the gen1
Very nice
I have all my Triggers on my Hunting Rifles Set to 800Gramm (1.7pounds) thats what i train with and for me it just Work
All my Rifles i could turn the weight down to 300 Gramm with the Factory Trigger (Steel Action, Mauser M12, Anschütz 1771 & 1782 all these Factory Rifles have excellent Triggers that are really crisp and predictable) but for Hunting this is too light espacially on Driven Hunts where some say 800 Gramm is to light.
If i had a Rifle with a bad Trigger i would go to my Neighbors in Austria i have shot several Rifles with Bixn Andy Triggers some from Friends, some to Test on the Range they are really nice even the best Factory Triggers (in my Opinon Anschütz have the best Factory Rifles when it comes to Factory Trigger you can tune them really fine for your needs) are not as good as Andys.
Watch the whole video. I currently use TriggerTech's Two-stage Diamond in my bolt guns and their Special in my hunting AR. Are the Bix'N Andy that much better?
Honestly, they’re both good triggers. They just have different feels. The big thing between the two to consider is that trigger tech are not user serviceable while the Bix’N Andy are and that can make a big big difference for people.
@@FClassJohn Thanks for the explanation. Didn't know that.
Still waiting for that Savage trigger to come out.
I just talked to them about that and they're in the final testing and it should be out within 2 months.
Great, thanks.
Wish they made a two stage trigger for a LH Tikka T3X.
My T3 tac A1 has a two stage trigger and is available in LH. Possibly you could order a replacement from Tikka?
Been looking for a good benchrest stock, and i love the look of this one. What is it?
It's a Dima dimars.com.ua/br and I have 6 of them and love them.
@@FClassJohn Excellent. I asked a question about stocks on reddit the other day and had Dima recommended there, too
@@carsonblaylock1789 You can search my channel for Dima and I have a few videos but the big thing that will amaze you is how fast he turns them around.
@@FClassJohn will do. really appreciate it. And I assume he can inlet them for most anything? Been planning a build around a BAT M
Money aside, would you buy this trigger over the comp?
The comp is purpose built. If all you want to do is use it from f class or something else where you need a very light break then it is what you want. This is a hunting or entry competition model.
How long is this coupon code good for? Hoping to make it to the next pay day lol
It’s about a month from yesterday.
@@FClassJohn good deal I won’t have to sell my kids SSN after all.
"Bixn" is an austrian dialect/slang word for Rifle 😉
Also Bavarian. Was my first thought as well.
Interesting. I honestly didn’t know that. Thank you.
Mine broke within a 100 rounds on a tikka. Will never buy a bix again
What did you do to it?
@@tiputipu777 don’t know. It fires on close
@@tiputipu777 sent it in for repair and still fires on close
@@Dave-cf2ng do you have it set too light? Factory t3x triggers will do the same if you set them lighter than factory spec
@@tiputipu777 nope. It’s broke
