I won't lie I have struggled wondering this my self. But if you are concerned about your salvation and that's important to you then I would say that's a good sign that God is working in you. You feel conviction and you know that you need a Savior. Someone who isn't saved may not have that kind of conviction. And even though there might even be a sin that we constantly struggle with remember that we still live differently than the non believer. And even Paul said that when he knew he shouldnt do some thing but still runs to it anyway. Non believers don't care. Also God knows we will sin even after we're saved. His grace and blood covers ALl our sins past, present, and future.

John Lauland ...thanks for mentioning that. Because its hard not to sin just by thought alone. Its a real world out there and its more sinful now than it was long ago. We cant live in a cave to avoid the world

I used to think I was saved but I didn't feel convicted when I would sin. What completely changed my life was being around people that were whole-heartedly seeking after God and realizing that I'm not doing what I'm called to do as a follower of Jesus. I started reading my Bible everyday, and through diving into His word, the Holy Spirit has come into my heart and completely renewed my mind. Yes, I still sin, but now I feel convicted and have a desire to seek holiness. If you're struggling with not feeling convicted when you sin, I urge you to read God's word everyday and pray continually. God will do amazing things in your heart!!

I was born into sin my mother was a heroin addict my dad absent because he had another family. My family wasn't religious so I was never taught about our father Jesus Christ. I am the oldest of 5 and never really had any guidance growing up. I suppose I brought myself up on a rough council estate in the U.K. I met my kids dad at 15 was pregnant at 16 had my. Had a volatile relationship were domestic violence was present. I ended up getting a drug addiction on heroin and crack cocaine I was hanging around with gangsters who sold drugs. I partied drank ended up in and out of jail. So sinned a lot. I stole from shops even become an escort. I lived a life of sin. Was never happy went for the wrong men had volatile relationships. I was suicidal at times nearly succeeded in killing myself even cut myself. I have wasted my life and affected my children. I had the worst nervous breakdown of my life and found I had a demonic attachment I seen it felt it and it moved stuff around my house. I downloaded an EVP on ghost hunting tools on my phone. It spoke to me saying it was taking me to hell, mentioning my kids name, saying decapitated, ritual, trinity, blood all sorts terrifying things. I was so scared especially at nights. My dog would bark at things I mean hed go mad like he was scared. Another ghost come through and said Faith it took me a few days before I could pray from my heart and mean it because I didn't know how. When I prayed from my heart I felt this beautiful uplifting feeling in my body. This was the Holy Spirit. Ever since I've been addicted to learning about our father Jesus. My new faith has brought me to tears I'm humbled Gods trying to save me. I kept wondering what my purpose was. I know god has a plan for me. I know with gods help I can live a more righteous life. I've still got addiction but I'm seeking help tomorrow to kick it to the curb and move on. With loads of confessions and repenting which I truly am sorry for from the bottom of my heart. I believe I can make it into heaven. God bless the world AMEN 🥰😇🙏

I like everything he said just wish he would have mentioned Ephesians 2:8-9 specifically. How do I know I have eternal life? Because it is not based on any good deed or deeds I have done. It is based on what Jesus has already done. Furthermore Christianity is the only worldview that preaches this message. Every other worldview has some form of works based mentality. Also, who is Heaven for? It is not for good people. It is for forgiven people. How do I become forgiven by repentance and putting my trust in what Jesus did at the Cross.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Salvation cannot be by work solely because when it comes to God, there is no in between. Anyone who has sinned--every human except Christ--cannot see the father. The only way one would be able to get to Heaven with work would be to perfectly follow the law. But Jesus Christ followed the law perfectly and has enabled us to get to the father if we believe in him. To me, believing in Jesus Christ means you are willing to deny yourself and bear the cross.

I’ve been “giving my life to the Lord” and getting “saved” _everyday,_ sometimes _multiple times_ in a day just because I’m terrified the last time didn’t “take” (??!) or that I said things in the wrong order or left something out of my “Jesus, please come into my heart” prayer.

It is written, that Jesus said: “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples" -[John 8.31] He also revealed: “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.” -[Matthew 13.52]

The fact that you are worried about whether your salvation is real or that you have truly repented is a sign that you are saved. The lost don’t think about these things. Fear and doubt come from the devil and he doesn’t bother people that don’t belong to the Lord. It’s difficult to tell the difference between a weak Christian and a lost person. The lives look similar. At some point us weak Christians, and I include myself in this group when I say it, have to stop tripping over whether we are saved are not and just get up and follow Christ. Acts 2:38 answers the question very pointedly. After Peter preached to them the Bible says they were pierced in the heart in verse 37. Then Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus in order to be forgiven. Then they would receive the Holy Spirit. That’s how you are saved. Frankly I’m surprised this video didn’t mention Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 12:13, 1 Peter 3:21, John 3:5-6, Romans 6 3&4, Galatians 3:26&27, Acts 22:16, or Mark 16:16. I don't understand when people tell a person who lacks assurance that they can know they're saved if they believe Christ is their Savior, not The Savior, not the Savior of all who believe, but their own Savior. If the person knew that, they wouldn't lack assurance, as they'd know Christ has saved them. This issue with assurance is a person does not know if they do believe in Christ so they don't know if Christ is their Savior, although they know He is the only Savior.

Here’s some good questions to ask yourself if you’re unsure of your salvation:
“Are you truly broken over the sin in your life?”
“Do you understand how utterly hopeless you are without God?”
“Do you recognize sin for the cancerous abomination that it is?”
“Do you realize the gravity of what the Cross means, and why Jesus was sent to die so we could live?”
“Does the truth of Scripture cause you to rejoice in the Lord, or flare up in sinful anger?”

1--Salvation is being SAVED from SIN. That is what the name of Jesus means-SAVE his people from their SINS:
(Matthew 1:21 "thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.")
2--The blessing of the resurrected LORD JESUS CHRIST is to TURN AWAY from INIQUITY (SIN):
(Acts 3:26 "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.")
3--The PURPOSE of JESUS was to DESTROY the WORKS of the DEVIL, that is, SIN.
Children of God repent of SIN and do works RIGHTEOUSNESS:
(1 John 3:7-8 "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.")

You know you are saved when you have become "spiritual awakened" (> "Born Again Christian?") and begin to take part in this unseen spiritual battle against Good and Evil (God / Satan that the Bible refers to over and over) that is taking place all around us here on earth.
If you do not understand this then you clearly have not been saved yet....
The Bible is a basically guidebook for the living as once a person is dead the Bible is totally useless. With that being said, there is no point that God would even mention this spiritual battle that is taking place here on earth if this information wasn't pertinent to His children (> people) and is of significant importance to include in the Bible. This is why the Bible also mentions "spiritual warfare" and putting on God's shield of armour and using prayer to fight Satan in this unseen spiritual battle here on earth. Since God is incapable of telling lies and untruths this would also mean that those who have been saved or spiritually awaken will be made aware of this unseen spiritual battle taking place all around us and become a part of God's army in God's earth-bound battle against Satan.
When a person studies the Bible a person has to study the Bible in such a way that if God gave the Bible to his children (> people) as a guidebook, then absolutely "everything" within the Bible has to be pertinent (make 100% complete sense and be of important use to people while they are alive) to His children.
Believing in Jesus doesn't make the world a better place, rather doing what Jesus said makes the world a better place. If you WANT to be saved then "DO" what Jesus said.......

I can't really tell but are you saying that if you work you'll be saved?

    • @happycat0411
      @happycat0411 2 года назад

@@godisalwaysgood6767 No, working doesn't equate to being "saved." In order to become saved you have to be willing to sacrifice at least 60% ~ 70% of one's money and material possessions (give to the poor and needy and God will step in an take over your life giving you what you need when you need it). Jesus Himself said this and Jesus was and is God in the living flesh.
      Check scripture for yourself!
The only other alternative is "repent" but this in no guarantee as you must wait till after you die to find out if you are saved or not.
Everyone will be judged though for both their good and bad deeds during their time on earth. Though those who have given up 60% ~ 70% have already made it into the gates of Heaven because they were willing to sacrifice both their money and material possessions based on faith in scripture.
Remember, the Bible is complete from beginning to end thus the only way God will reveal Himself is through sacrifice (giving most of one's money and material possessions to the poor and needy).
The Jesus Himself did say that the way to the Father is through me and scripture does not say Jesus's words were meant for after a person's death.
This is the "key" that unlocks the Bible though very very few will test Jesus's words as most people are bound to the physical world by their thirst for money, materialism, greed, and power.
What do you think / believe?
Do you think that just believing in Jesus is enough to get one's foot into Heaven for eternity? No one even knows what Jesus even physically looked like thus "believing" > has to mean following the words that Jesus spoke when Jesus walked this earth.....

Maybe the simplest answer is to ask yourself if you confessed yourself to Jesus initially with your whole heart. If your profession of faith contains deceit, you were not saved. If you believe that your brand of sin is not only okay, but you participate in parades that promote your sin and the sin of others...that is a deceit of your heart (not to mention yourself) and you are still not saved. This does not mean that you need works to BECOME saved, it means that you need a penitent heart. Without the penitent heart, you have a deceit in your heart. As a result of salvation, you should be fruitful in works, as James suggested.
So, let's review three points which address this issue:
    1) Penitent heart (dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner.)
    2) Ask to receive the free gift of salvation, (I ask you to forgive me of all of my sin) and
    3) Follow up with the fruit, which is works. Matthew 7:20

what are your thoughts on heavy metal? and people enjoy the color black? theres so many stereotypes around people like me that since I like black i'm a Satanist (im a Christian)and its so frequently thought I cant help but wonder if it's really wrong to like a color? and also bad to like metal? I know alot are bad but there is some who simply sing about our world and fighting the evil in it but just because the sound is loud screaming its automatically thought to be evil.I thought evil wears a disguise and rarely shows its true nature, like demons pretend to be angels, bad pretends to good, even in our music sometimes for example in pop or rap talking about greed and murder but in metal a song like "oh lord"-in this moment saying " Oh lord can’t you save me from my twisted little mind,Oh Lord won’t you please show me how to turn the water to wine,Oh Lord won’t you show me Am I the sinner - or the saint,Oh Lord won’t you please tell me was all my suffering in vain, oh god have mercy on me" despite the actual words in the song being good its still considered evil because of the way its sung. so I guess i'm asking 2 questions 1. is likeing the color black bad and 2. is metal automatically bad bc of its loud screaming or somthing? these are probably easy questions to answer but I need another's opinion.

The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus and saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles. ) So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?” He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)- then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”
It all boils down on how you do things that defiles you. It isn't wrong to like the color black (because I also like the color black), and certainly liking a certain music genre WHATEVER IT IS doesn't defile you unless you are shaped by those things. In which, you are doing bad things. So this means that liking whatever colors you want, or liking a music genre (that doesn't provoke, encourage doing sins, or worshipping others other God and Jesus Christ) doesn't defile God or yourself for it is the heart and what you do to others are what defiles them and yourself.
In conclusion, you can like the color black and like heavy metal, but don't do things that you know is bad and against the Lord. :)

Your assurance should come from believing Jesus' promise that all who believe in him have everlasting life, not from looking at how you live your life to see if you're doing the right things or bearing fruit because that would mean that you would be looking at your own works to try and work out if you're saved or not. It says in John 11: 25-27: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” Martha knew she was born again purely because she believed what Jesus said.

The scripture you posted is stating that " Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God remains on him.

Don’t force yourself, one thing that most Christians do when on the path with God. You know this yourself, you’ve been with God, and always have a dearing thought about Jesus. Remember that fear does not come from the Spirit from the Lord.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
      ‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Don’t depend on your feelings, a lot of Christians have been there, and I’m one of them. Don’t be eager to listen to what fear says to you, because you know that it’s all coming from the Father of lies. Having the caring thought of committing the unforgivable sin, is a great sign you are focused on following the Lord. This doesn’t mean you did, it means you are aware of the actuality of sin, the reality of it and the consequences. But the Lord gave a way, and that is through Jesus. I encourage you, to face your fears, it’s okay to be afraid, but stand firm. Fear is a wise feeling that you’d feel when you are in danger, it motivates you to not do what you want to do. Stay in the Spirit, leave it to God. Don’t force it, because you aren’t that powerful enough to make God stay. God is Powerful enough, merciful enough and greater than you, than us, than the rest of the world. Discern your thoughts, I encourage you to read proverbs and continue in His Word.

If your reading this comment then I’d bet you are saved. The dead do not go looking for confirmation on what they do not believe! No it’s everyone who’s alive in Christ that seeks confirmation. You have sinned, repeatedly, and on purpose over and over again you’ve sinned. Now in your ear you hear, “ how can I be saved “ and who is that that you think is talking, accusing you? Revelation 12:10 “ Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” It is true the Spirit will convict you of sin, no doubt. But if your convicted over sin to the point of questioning your salvation then it’s not the Spirit but satan that accuses you. Rest! Salvation is secure if you believe in Him that quickens the dead. 1 John 5 “ Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”

    Churches of men, also called christians, hear The Truth regarding the matter from your Redeemer Himself whom you call Jesus. He has spoken to our generation, more of His Volumes is found at the bottom of this comment;
"1/7/10 From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior
The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
Thus says The Lord: Beloved ones, I am The Answer you search for, The Truth you seek - The Only Way, The Only Truth, The Only Life. Apart from Me there is nothing of any value; apart from Me there is no life. Therefore who you choose, not what you choose, is the answer. For who you choose defines what you do. And whosoever chooses another, and not Me in truth, has chosen themselves, and has done according to their own will.
Thus those who embrace My words
Have taken the first steps in the
Knowledge of how to truly abide in Me...
    Indeed, those who have written
    This wisdom upon their heart
    Have already crossed the threshold...
    I am The Lord."
    ~
"2/4/10 From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior
The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
This question was asked of The Lord: Lord, by putting You first, and refusing to take part in the modern holidays of men, are we dishonoring our parents and family who say we should take part?
Thus says The Lord YahuShua: Beloved, a sincere desire to be free from the iniquity of this world is good and well-pleasing to The Lord. For one who truly loves Me seeks to please Me. And those in whom I dwell will run from these holidays of men, which I hate, despising them. Yet one who remains in disagreement with My Word in the Volumes can in no wise be gathered, for they have denied Me. And any who reject My Word, in favor of the doctrines and traditions of men, embrace that which runs contrary to Me.
For I tell you the truth, anyone who refuses, disagrees with, or speaks against My Letters or My prophet has rejected Me in favor of their own way. Pride has ensnared them, and arrogance has become their close friend. Behold, they have embraced the world and its evil ways, and seek not the approval of their Father in Heaven, but of men. And all who seek the approval of men must walk through the valley with them; and all who remain friends of the world have made themselves enemies of God, as it is written.[1] Therefore all lovers of the world shall surely be left in it; they shall not escape! For assuredly, I say to you, this world shall be shaken and the glory of men shall be broken down! And in like manner shall all those left in the world be humbled, severely abased - many broken and uplifted, and many more broken and condemned, says The Lord.
    Therefore concerning these holidays
    Of men, which I hate...
Let all those who have received
    The love of the Truth depart from them;
Let the division be made clear[2]...
And let those who say they know Me,
Yet make no effort to pick up their
Cross and follow Me,[3] bear the weight
Of their burden in the Day of The Lord.
Therefore, concerning the question of breaking one Commandment in favor of another, the answer is this: I AM FIRST, of which The Commandments also testify. For those who truly love Me seek to obey My voice, and those who obey My voice have also fulfilled The Moral Law. For I am, and have always been the goal at which the Torah aims.[4] And all those in whose heart I am foremost serve Me without constraint, seeking always to place Me first, above all else. For these walk in My ways, doing those same things I did. They do not add to the Word which I have commanded them, nor do they take away from it. Behold, they keep The Commandments of God, as He commanded them and as they are written, and not as the churches of men would have them be."

If we read the book of Corinthians, we see that they not only sinned, but bear no fruit, yet they were saved. They were doing all the wrong things we would think might prove that a person was not saved. Our salvation assurance is not in ourselves, but in God and His word. Once we believe the simple gospel given to the Apostles Paul by Jesus to believe in His death, burial, resurrection and shed blood for the forgiveness of our sins, and put our trust in that alone, we are saved. It is NOT of ourselves, Eph 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-6. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Sealed means it's a done deal, God keeps us, we can not lose our salvation regardless what we do or don't do. This is called being saved by GRACE and being kept by GRACE. Don't make the mistake thinking works gets us saved or that works/fruit keeps us saved. That is not true. Works and grace are opposites.
Trust God's word: Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

The doctrine that D&K Grace teaches takes away repentance, takes away the words of Christ, takes away the gospel of Christ, takes away the kingdom of God, takes away baptism for the remission of sin, and makes the words of Paul more authoritative than the words of Jesus. His false doctrine takes away large portions of the bible. He does not know the difference between a gentile and a Jew in the bible. Stay away from this false doctrine that he teaches.

*ARE* you "saved"? The apostles Paul and Peter said we in this mortal life have "the hope of salvation" and are appointed "to obtain salvation" and "shall be saved" in the future. For example:
"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9. Did Paul tell them they _had been_ saved?).
"But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they." (Acts 15: 11; Peter, speaking to apostles and elders about future salvation for both themselves and Gentiles.Did Peter tell them they _had been_ saved?)
Peter and Paul understood that we will not be saved - saved from ever perishing in death - until we actually receive the gift of eternal life. Paul explained (1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thess 4:13-17) that we will receive eternal life at our resurrection at Jesus' return. Not until then will we be saved from ever perishing in death.
⚫ Meanwhile in this mortal life we are _being_ "saved," in a different sense: we are being saved from slavery to sin. Through a relationship with Him through the spirit we are led out of slavery to sin and led into His righteousness, being made ready, fit, to receive the gift of eternal life. This is sanctification:
"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19)
A relationship with Him "yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby" (Hebrews 12:11).
"For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:13,14)
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
"If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6)
⚫ Meanwhile in this mortal life we may _have been_ "saved," in yet another sense: saved from the hopelessness of having to perish as the penalty for past sins. We've all sinned. Our sins have separated us from God (Isaiah 59:1,2) and earned the "wages" of sin: death (Romans 6:23). We are promised God's mercy if we'll do as He instructs us to do. We'll be forgiven and redeemed, by grace, from the death penalty already earned for past sins. Jesus made that redemption possible when He gave His life to create a ransom payment (Matthew 20:28), making His death, His blood, available as a payment of our death penalty.
We can be "purged" from our "old sins" (2 Peter 1:9). We can have "remission of sins that are past" (Romans 3:25). We can have our past sins "blotted out" and be redeemed from the death penalty earned for those sins. With past sins and their death penalty blotted out we are no longer separated from God. We are now justified or reconciled to God in this mortal life (but not yet "saved" from ever perishing in death). How can we receive this mercy, this grace?
"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30)
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV).
Note that our sins were NOT blotted out when Jesus died on the cross. We must repent for our sins to be blotted out. Then, no longer separated from God, we can begin a "time of refreshing" - a new life - "in the presence of the Lord" through the holy spirit . . . sanctification.
Note how Paul separated justification from salvation: they are two different things at different times. It is a mistake to confuse justification (now) with being saved (in the future) through an ongoing relationship with Him, continuing in repentance:
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." (Paul, in Romans 5:9)
⚫ Without repentance we have no redemption and will surely perish, unredeemed from the death penalty already earned for past sin (Romans 6:23). That's why Jesus warned, *"except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish"* (Luke 13:5).

No. It is not a mistake to think one is saved at the time they are justified. They are already redeemed. When one is redeemed by the Father they are justified at that very moment. Justified in Christ. We are saved by faith alone ie ephesians. The man is being sanctified his entire life in this flesh body. Then the man is glorified when he is in heaven with God. The justified man is NOW in the body of Christ being born again in Christ. It is a gift because none of us deserve to be saved. Whom the Father has given to the Son cannot be undone! A true convert in Christ ie born again will run the race to the end. Christ said abide in me and my word until the end and you shall be saved. The Holy Spirit enables the redeemed man to finish the race. If one is truly redeemed, one cannot be un-redeemed.They are already saved! Works do not save a man but works and a repentant heart are evidence that a man is saved. The man is a new creation in Christ. The man will likewise study scripture to obtain the mind of Christ and continue on in his journey as a servant of his glorious savior Jesus Christ!

    Easy awnser:
Nobody is saved before the day of Judgement!!
This is how I would preach:
Ask them if they fear the Lord?
    Proverbs 9:10
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding".
    Proverbs 8:13
"The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: Pride and arrogance, and the evil way, and the fraudulent mouth do I hate".
Psalm 33:18 "Behold, the eye of the Lord is on them, that fear Him. On them that hope on his mercy".
    Matthew 10:28
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell".
Ask them if they love the Lord?
    John 14:15
"If you love me you will keep my commandments".
One of those commandments is: Keep the Sabbath (Friday sunset till saterday sunset) Holy.
    Conclusion:
Just a very few Christians have the basics these days:
Fear and love the Lord at the same time!
Most Christians these days don't do it, wich means most of them will end in the lake of fire, just as the bible says..
I know I won't make many friends with such teaching, but I rather have no friends at all while saving souls, then having friends wich I will all lead into the lake of fire.
Please save yourself and follow the bible instead of "doctrines of demons"!
    Amen! 

Remember Jesus died for ALL your sins, past present and future, 2000 yrs. ago.
They were ALL future when He died. If you believe the correct gospel nothing can take your salvation God gives to by grace, not even your sin which was covered by Christ' shed blood.

Why, as this pastor says, is the life of the apostolic church descriptive and not prescriptive (or, at least, in some way indicative of what would be most pleasing to God)? He gives no reason. Did the Holy Spirit decide to gear down to accommodate more of the world's values? Prescriptive-descriptive is really an example of the binary fallacy. If this guy doesn't get that, he's not anybody I'd want to listen to.
The passages he quotes as telling you you can know you are saved depend on the meaning you pour into 'believe,' which he does not cash out. So, at this point, they mean little. Is this entirely lost on him?
I don't think feeling like you can give a '10' to how sure you are you are saved has anything to do with whether you are or not. I'd have much more confidence in the person's citizenship in the eternal Kingdom of God/Heaven if they gave it a '2' but evidenced a zealous striving to conform themselves, their worldviews, and their lifestyles to the character and demands of Jesus.

      Hi Palm Beach Ministry!
I respectfully agree _and_ disagree with you.
While it's true that only the Lord knows who are his, we (Christians) do _not_ have to wait until the Bema (or Judgment) Seat of Christ to find out whether or not we are saved, because if a Christian is standing before Christ at the Bema Seat, that judgment will not be to determine if that person goes to heaven or hell, that judgment will be to determine what rewards, if any, that person has earned. That person's salvation was secured already while on earth if that person repented of their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ before they died. It's the Great White Throne Judgment where sadly, unsaved individuals will be found guilty as charged for their sins and then thrown into the lake of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
If it _were_ true that, while on earth, a Christian could never know for sure as to whether or not they are saved, then Christianity is no different from Islam (a works based faith), which tells its followers that they can never know on this side of eternity if they have done enough good works to go to their eternal reward.
What separates Christianity from Islam as well as all the _other_ world religions, is that salvation is by God's grace alone through faith in Christ alone, plus nothing.

@@dinerdashing Hello Dinerdashing. I agree with most of what you said. Perhaps our difference may be just semantics, but I welcome having a civil common sense dialogue with you. I do agree with you that we are saved once we repent and turn to our Lord Jesus Christ. But with that being said, there is no guarantee that we will be in heaven until Jesus says we are. In other words, it is possible, especially us being humans (no pun intended), that we can choose to go back to disobedience, which at that point, we would no longer be partakers of salvation. So yes, while we can have the confidence that we are saved, so as long as we not self-deceiving ourselves, we will never truly know until we appear at the Judgement Seat of Christ.

@@palmbranchministry519 Hi Palm Beach Ministry. Thanks for writing back.
I don't know about you, but I watch _alot_ of Ray Comfort open air preaching as well as one on one evangelism encounters on RUclips.
Everyone he witnesses to one on one or when he open air preaches, he says the same things to people over and over again which is:
      1. We are not good people but sinners who have broken God's moral law, the 10 Commandments.
      2. Because of that, we deserve eternal punishment in hell, but God is rich in mercy, not wanting anyone to perish that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment of God's eternal wrath for our sins.
Unrepentant sinners need to do two things:
      1. Repent (turn away) from their sins and forsake them and
      2. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ the way they (the unrepentant sinner) would trust in a parachute to save them if they had to jump out of an airplane at 10,000 feet in the air.
      3. When a person does that, even though their still guilty, God can legally dismiss their case, commute their death sentence, and give them everlasting life because their fine has now been paid in full by the Lord Jesus Christ.
This radically saved man, Ray Comfort, has been preaching this same message since, I believe, the 1970's, and has taught many others to do the same thing. Personally, the way I learned to evangelize using the 10 Commandments was through repeated viewings of "Way Of the Master" tv episodes.
But if Ray Comfort and people like him who do what he does aren't saved, then they might as well stop preaching altogether because their wasting their time. But it's _because_ they know they're saved and continue to trust in the parachute (Jesus Christ) that they continue to do what they do.
After all, rhetorically speaking, how can we as Christians tell others that they can have assurance of salvation if we're not even sure of our own? That would make evangelism useless and a waste of time.
And you're right, we should not be self-deceived which is why we need to spiritually examine ourselves from time to time. But it's not God's will that his children should live in doubt (John 5:24).
And of course we can have a civil dialogue. If we belong to the same God, why wouldn't we? There is no need for anger and fighting between family members. I get the feeling you said this because of some bad experiences you had with other Christians on RUclips or other social media. But I'm not here to argue with anybody. I'm here to listen to what others have to say as well as respectfully put in my own two cents.

Yeah, Ray Comfort's neat. I truly admire, respect, and appreciate him and the Living Waters Ministry.
You're right, unless we are truly born again and filled with God's Holy Spirit, we cannot evangelize, live godly or do _anything_ for Christ. And without my new birth and being filled with God's Holy Spirit, I could not be nearly 17 years single _and_ celibate, but it's my love for Christ and the Holy Spirit in me that compels me and gives me the continued desire to live this way, possibly for the rest of my life. Whatever God wants is fine with me
Also, remember that it's the Holy Spirit who testifies (or bears witness, to put it another way) with our spirit that we _are_ God's children, Romans 8.
Again, it is not God's will that his children should live in doubt. 😊

If we were to be likened to a tree, the fruit that comes out of that tree being the determining factor as to the worth of that tree, then our actions, whether good or bad, determine what kind of persons we are. As for saving lots of people, remember that God may utilize you as a sower of his good seed, where the seed is the word of God. We are told to be ready "in season" and "out of season," to "convince" or "rebuke" with all authority. -[2 Timothy 4:2] Your contribution to the sowing of his word and to the glory of his kingdom may seem insignificant at first, but it is important that you devote your time to it. I hope that helps.

There is no such thing as Bible ALONE, Faith ALONE, or Once Saved Always Saved. They were all made up out of thin air by Martin Luther. Nobody believed or practiced any of that for 1500 years prior. You are only fooling yourselves if you think you can say, "I have faith (alone)" and I don't have to do anything else. Try reading James 2:24.

    • @gigiis526

Why would you mention Martin Luther unless you are catholic? Catholics cling to a infused FALSE DAMNING faith. Catholics work and work to be saved. Their catholic sacraments and prayers to Mary and purgatory (to name a few heresies within the false faith) are not found in SOLA SCRIPTURA!
Christ said if even an angel bring another gospel he is cursed! Martin Luther understood, by the enlightening of the Holy Spirit, that we are saved by Gods grace. Salvation is a free gift . Man is justified by his faith alone in Gods grace.
Works do not save a man but works are evident that a man is saved! We are saved by faith alone . We are saved by faith alone in GRACE ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE. If you are working to be saved;you arent!
Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not by works, so that no one can boast.…
It helps to study James 2:24 in CONTEXT as well as take all of scripture (cross references) into account to properly exegate Gods Holy Word!
The Father draws the man . The Father gives the heart of repentance and the Father gives the measure of faith. God doesnt turn around and throw away his redeemed . A person who is truly redeemed by God is redeemed FOREVER. Whether or not a man abides in Christ and His word to the end is the test. Those that are false converts will not make it. They walk the wide path that leads to destruction. You must be born again to inherit the kingdom of God. Repent. The kingdom of heaven is near! Flee from the damned RC church. Read Gods Holy Word to know God and know how to worship God.
      John 6:39
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.
      John 6:65
Then Jesus said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him."
      John 10:28
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.

There is a lot of deception in "Said Salvation" simply checking the box as he mentioned "Saying we Believe in our hearts and confessing with our mouths i.e (Having knowledge of God, and Verbalizing it) " but not going beyond that - which means we haven't truly repented and turned away from our sins and most certainly not saved.
This video is trying to bring light to that deception.
He did mention the Holy Spirit - having the Holy Spirit which produces a change in us - our hearts and desires to do the will of God. He did not go in-depth about this but that was not the purpose and focus of this video.

I am having a hard time figuring you out, Trevor. Christianity is a *BIBLE* based religion. I quoted what the *BIBLE* says relative to the title subject, in what is, ostensibly, a Christian forum, and your nose gets bent out of shape. Since you instinctively recoil from the *BIBLE,* wouldn't you be more at home sowing your sarcasm elsewhere on the internet?

Calvinism: you can know if you're save. Outrageous lie. You can never know until judgement. But Calvinist say they know. False claim. The bible says, not even the son of man knows about the judgement day, so until then all is hanging in the balance.

Not so. It would be unjust for God to require something of us and not give us the way to get there and the assurance that His way is correct and that it applies to me. Yes, I'm sure I'm saved because of what Christ did, not what I can do. When I believed and put my trust in His death, burial and resurrection, I was saved.
