Hello! I must say that those bread rolls look more like giraffes, as you mentioned in the beginning. Ha ha! Beautiful rolls you made, Mr. Cooper. The effect of the rice flour mixture on the top is so nice. Really enjoyed the video. Baking is always magnificent!
Hi Geoff, brilliant tutorial as always……your Tiger Rolls look incredible……my husbands auntie used to call them Tiger Feet! …..I’ve learned loads from you again, thanks Geoff xxxx
Hi Geoff!! I will be awaiting a recipe book by you in the future (smile)!! You have much better, and unique recipes than many other channels I subscribe to.
Hi Geoff. Good one as always! I think this is what we call Dutch Crunch here in the USA and is a very popular roll in sandwich shops or deli's for making lovely custom sandwiches. They are stuffed to the rafters with meats and cheeses and veggies and assorted condiments, that result in a massive tower of food for the most part, that is more than what one person should consume in one day... yet as I said, very popular... but as I digress, the Dutch Crunch is very popular and a nice one to know how to bake... thank you for showing us how. "Queen of the run-on sentence it seems... Sorry🙃"
HI Julie-joy. Yes, I mentioned in my blog that it is also called Crunch bread. Very good, as you mention, filled with the meats and cheeses etc, of personal preference.
Thanks for another yummy recipe. I love tiger bread and will definitely try it. BTW, I've tried your other recipes and they turned out very nice ! Once again, thanks Geoff ❤
Thanks for this and particuarly for giving us a good slurry recipe. I've had the same toothbreaking trouble with other recipes. Will be trying yours tomorrow. 🙂

Hi Chloe. I am glad you think so. A recipe book sounds like quite a lot of work for someone as lazy as I.
Good morning x Geoff I will be making these, I've a bag of string flour, looking at me, 👀, lol. ❤️ Happy weekend
Hi Miss Dream. Now you have me worried. I need to check up on you later to make sure the attentive string flour hasn't tied you up.

What model mixer is that You use?. Great vid as always.
Hi MunkeyUK. The mixer I used for this recipe was the Bosch Optimum MUM9GX5S21.
Geoff would this be suitable as a gourmet hamburger bun?
Hi Jeff. Yes I am sure they would be very good for hamburgers. These are large buns, more than 5 inches in diameter.
Why call it Tiger bread ? The rice coating could point to Dutch colonial history in Indonesia. Have you seen the face of a (Sumatra) tiger cub ?
Hi RAW. I am sure there is a perfectly sensible explanation for the name.
