Hello , Would appreciate your advise regarding the water resistance aspects. Our household would certainly continue the Jhaadu / Poccha (sweeping and mopping) routine. Stopping the mopping will lead a little more dusty environment and hence not so keen to stop that. I like the 'woodiness' feel of engineered wood. Backup options being Laminate Wood / WPC / SPC. These options seem as bad as wood coloured Tiles look wise. Rather put high quality tiles at 150 per sqft.

Ply is a better product. Eng wood may be he is giving you in prelaminated particle board.
