- I found this in the Deleted Scenes on the Season 1 BluRay. But as we all know, this happy ending for the Riverdale gang just wasn't to be . . . Bughead Jughead x Betty Varchie Veronica x Archie hanging out at a booth at Pop's near the end of episode 13.
(I'll eventually get around to posting the Jughead scene immediately following this)
Sorry about the audio - I tried to fix it. Perhaps someone else will post a better sounding copy soon when they get their BluRay. :-)

There's actually a ton of scenes that are Veronica and Hermoine and other non-Bughead stuff as well. I'm just a Bughead shipper (with very limited time since I've been ill - I've had these since Friday and couldn't even post until last night because I've been so sick), so I'm posting Bughead stuff first. But I'm hoping to get to a Jughead & Veronica/Hermoine deleted scenes tonight.

they (most likely the producers) werent sure if they were going to be renewed for a season 2 so they had this scene as the ending as a sort of closure. but once it turned out that they actually would have a season 2, they changed it for the ending we saw to have something the characters to fight for/fix to continue/start a storyline

I'm hoping to . . . But, I've been ill. (I've had access to these deleted scenes since Friday and just wasn't feeling good enough until last night to upload them). We'll see how much I can get done tonight. My goal is the FP/Jughead scene following this and a really freaking COOL & SHOCKING Veronica/Hermoine scene at the very least.

Yes, it was QUITE different than what we ended up with. I wonder if this is how they were planning to end it if the show didn't get renewed? It would have gone out on a high note. Everybody seems to love this scene.

in this alternate ending was the killer ever revealed like wtf they’re all actually acting like everything’s perfect and yeah and in an aspect it is since Betty’s parents are being all nice and shit but damn like I don’t like thisss it’s weird
What killer? Jason killer is revealed in episode 12. If you mean Archie dad, that wasn't going to be added, it was only added after they confirmed that there's was a season 2.
This scene was an alternate ending if the CW cancelled the show and there's no season 2. Everybody ended up happy, no shooting no killer
