What a man 2cents... You know some1 loves this game when this kinda dedication is shown... Love your channel, well done sharks!!! Vincent Koch with that kick wow
Everyone is talking about Koch’s 50/22, but it was much more than that. Koch run a support line, caught the ball in full sprint with one hand and in one fluid motion dropped it on his foot to kick it through a gap for a 50/22. One thing is to kick a 50/22 when you’re a forward. A whole different kettle of fish is to do it in full tilt a split second after you’ve acrobatically retrieved it and you need to quickly find a gap between the defenders, because the next second a tackler will be in your face. It was a truly exceptional display of skill.
You didn't mention Koch's 50/22! Appreciate your punctuality though! One of the greatest rugby RUclipsrs, hands down! Great stuff! I reckon we'll watch your Two Cents on Tour channel when you come over for an Incoming Series (like EggChasers {sorry}) or a couple of SA v NZ matches with content.
@@TwoCentsRugby can't wait! I'd expect the ABs to destroy ENG. Keep doing your thing. Don't get too "Distracted"... Hey? Hey?... You're working hard and deserve a go at commentary at the highest level.
@@TwoCentsRugby, Please come to South Africa, when the AllBlacks takes on the Springboks in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Eggchasers is going to be here as well, please consider, your reviews are amazing and you are not bias.
As a sharks fan since birth, its been tough to have watched us lose all of those super rugby finals. I cried as a kid when we lost to the bulls after habana scored the try in the last play and was at the game when he got destroyed by the chiefs. So proud to finally see us win an international trophy. LETS GO SHARKS🦈🦈🦈
Got a bit of hay fever from having it on but finally got to blow the dust off my sharks jersey and wear it with pride. Glad to finally get our hands on some silverware and have a small ray of sunshine in a disappointing season
As a Sharks fan that knows we lost 4 super rugby finals, 2 of which I had to live through and going through year after year of "almosts" and close calls, to finally win an international trophy in objectively one of our worst seasons had me (almost👀) very teary eyed. Love the review and I completely understand your sentiment at the start, I too thought we would win SR at some stage (I claim the 2020 season🤣)
As soon as we (Glos) couldn't get a score after 4 or so penalties on their line and a man up, I knew we were done. Simply enough, if you have to early pressure in a final, and don't convert, chances are you ain't winning it. All a bit inevitable from there on, still, gave it go, scored some tries at least, and good turnout from the fans. It is what it is, congratulations Sharks!
Koch was amazing (or incredible one could say) . Buthelezi definitely put his hand up and gave Rassie something to think about seeing that Wiese isn’t going to be available for the first few bok games.
As a Saffer I stand by my point that the Sharks are technically well under-coached. Many big names (and yes, the Bok front row was devastating), but no fluency up front or at the back and a complete inability to concoct holes in the Cherry&Whites' backline defense. The score line would have looked much different if it wasn't for the superb goal kicking of Masuku. Nevertheless, very happy for them and chuffed about the silverware going to Durban. Cheers from Safferland chaps! 🇿🇦
This is true. My boys have been messy this season. It is a bit tough with only one coach left from the coaching team from last seasons team didn't help. I hope they're turning the corner now!
I agree..what's the solution given the changes already? More changes? Outside specialist help with the same coaching team? As a continuous long term strategy always have an apprentice coach watching and learning and doing the basic drills, research etc?
Great game, really happy for sharks fans. Wonder what all those guys who are changing laws thunk of the scrums, cos from my couch, that was f**king awesome. I was even cheering for the Glos tight head when he got away with that angle change a few times. As Rian would say rrrrrrrrrugby
Delighted we will see the Sharks in the Champions cup next year. 2nd Trophy going south after Stormers URC win in 22. The saffa's are a great addition to European rugby.
@Baz502As a Sharks fan it doesn’t feel like a real trophy. Even if we won the URC and the Champions Cup, it wouldn’t come close to what winning Super Rugby would have felt like for me.
Shoot, I missed it. Thanks for the review TC. That's a good win for the Sharks. I hope that the Bokkes fans buy into the European competitions, we need them to help us get better.
I still have nightmares about our Super Rugby finals (don't mention 2007 🥲) so its pleasing to finally see us bring some silverware home! But the big win here was a place in next season's Champions Cup. Huge reward IMO.
It was a great win. I was rooting for the Sharks but I thought Bennetton would win it by a point or two. Great performance from the Sharks, good to see some silverware heading south.
Good on tbe sharks a great performance, really looked like they were going to be piled on first 20. Scrum really won that game Gloucester came back well but needed it sooner. Great performance from Williams.
Sharks win makes the final urc round spicy. 8th place is no longer enough to qualify for next season's champions cup (unless 8th place miraculously wins the urc)
Ah... that is indeed interesting. So, because of this, its likely that only 7 or the URC teams qualify next year ? So, Edinburgh, Benetton and the Lions are at risk of losing out.
Gloucester put all their eggs into this European campaign, hoping to make something of this season worthwhile and make up for the Premiership being so alful.
@@CameronHanvey-x5j I watched the last moments again last day I don’t understand because they kick it twice in the last play The second time, it says time over but he did not kick into touch But anyway, the Sharks will remain an immense franchise

@TwoCentsRugby I'm not gonna lie, I don't like the European format where you have 3 different competitions you have to follow. Each team fielding different squads depending on the competition. Maybe I'm just a Neanderthal but I'm glad with super rugby it's simple and just one competition you have to follow. At least that way you don't have teams neglecting the competition for other championships.😂
@@illegalkiwi2193I actually love that format. Gives every player a chance to showcase their talent thus expanding the pool from which the national team can choose.
