      Hes a sloppy no details kind of guy. Doesnt do well in court. Doesnt mean hes lying. Doesnt mean the D is innocent. Just wont help you in court. Plus I think all three at the Ps table are taking this as a joke since its a tv show. They dont watch her.

    It amazes me how people just sign court documents without reading them. When I open a bank account I read ALL disclosures and forms before I sign them. Court documents require can eagle eye and specificity. Skimming them is setting yourself up to lose.

      ​@@SnowWhiteTheU2so she actually explained in an older case that someone from her staff gets the testimony over phone from the plantiff and defendants. The staff person writes down what they say, and then the participants come to check the written testimony before going on the show to make sure it's accurate. After checking they sign it basically confirming everything written on their behalf is accurate to what they said over the phone.
      So yea that's why the signature matters

      I am well into my 50s now and I can tell you from experience, I read EVERY word before I sign anything. I actually bring a magnifying glass with me to make sure I understand the small print (which is where most iffy terms are buried). Spectrum cable got me with small print on one of their monthly invoices that I didn't catch (if you cancel even at the beginning of the month, they do not prorate anymore, you have to pay the entire monthly amount. Small print stated that they are on a subscription billing now).

    I love it when JJ laughs during cases but 0:44 is one of my favourite times of her doing so. That laugh was so evil and mischievous, especially the way she looks at the plaintiff when laughing. 🤣

    You know what I think? I think the defendant probably did hit the boat and damage it. However, the plaintiffs are running their business in such a careless and slipshod manner, they can't present a coherent case.
    My neighbor has more cars than slots, and parks them across the street from my garage / driveway. I'm extra careful backing up so I don't hit them. Here, I don't buy the explanation for why the boat is tied up along the seawall instead of a slip. Since they conceded in the first episode that they started with two boats, and now are up to four, that maybe they have fewer slips than boats. So they tie up this one at the seawall.
