These guys aren't kids anymore. Yet, they still go out and give you 120 percent at every performance, whether it's a small or large venue.... and THAT is why they're still one of the best live shows in Rock n Roll. Oh... and Nuno still RULES!!!

I will never forget seeing Gary Cherone's band "Tribe of Judah" with current Dream Theater drummer Mike Mangini at a bar in a strip mall in NH, and he performed the same as he did at the Freddy Mercury tribute concert at Wembley Stadium. At one point he walked into the crowd, stood next to the tall yet small round table I was standing near, and lept from the ground to the top of the table and 'surfed' on it, wobbling it about without concern of losing balance. He's not a tall man. But like a cat, he just hopped onto this table. And he did this WHILE singing. Absolute next level.
I remember seeing these guys play live in a small club in Boston, just one year before they flew to LA and made their 1st album. Nuno has aged really well thru the years. the whole 'hair flipping' thing they are doing is SO (played-out) 90's tho. I wouldn't miss it if they stopped doing that part! LOL
Makes sense. Most people on a cruise ship are retirees and widows, you might as well add the music from their youth. I'm sure back in the day the Rat Pack played some cruise ships along with the casino gigs.
Well, let's be honest - Not a huge attraction in a P&O Ferry bobbing about in the Channel, with it pissing down with freezing rain. We've some fucking great festivals though...
From the rocking to the ballads, extreme were right on point, only thing against them was in the game at tail end, but they always found a way to "tickle" our attention : more than words/ funk.... Great! great! band.
Maybe if Extreme were aboard the Titanic it wouldn't have sunk. If they found Nunos 4N guitar at the bottom of the ocean after 70 years it would still be in one piece

I saw them on this tour, Pornograffiti, and by comparison they look and sound good, as must be 50's now, especially Nuno Bettencourt who has a great guitar sound.

Saw them a long long long time ago with Winger, Winger was really good but Extreme stole the show - I was hooked.
