    In Linear regression analysis i found excluded variable but i have no idea about excluded variable. So, how i explain in my hypothesis result?

      Sure I will upload more such videos. These days I am busy with a project. Till that time you can read my latest publication to learn about reporting negative significant variables from my published paper. www.emerald.com/insight/content/doi/10.1108/IJILT-05-2020-0089/full/html?skipTracking=true&TrendMD&M300_and_PC_Report_TrendMD_0&WT.mc_id=Emerald_TrendMD_0

    If we are proving a Significant Relationship between the variables, what is the minimum percentage to be considered in order to prove our hypothesis.?

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  3 года назад

      Dear Haider . The percentage of relationship is proved in the output. It may be low or high. For the hypothesis testing we need to see the significance level related to the variable. Kindly see video for the details.

    Thank you very much, Sir. This video helps me a lot. But I have some questions and if you are willing, please help me by answering these questions?
    1, In my research, I will use only one dependent & 5 independent variables and all of them are ordinal data (5 points Likert scale). And in each variable, there are 4 questions. So, how can I generalize (sum up) these questions into one variable to perform Multilinear regression? should I use mean or median to compute the variables?
    2. According to different literature, ordinal data are non-parametric and should use like Median, Mode, Mann Whitney U-test, and Spearman correlation. Therefore, which method is the best one for my research (parametric or non-parametric) or can I use ordinal data as continuous data in order to perform Multilinear regression?
    Thank you in advance for your help.

      I have a similar type of questionnaire in one of my papers. Kindly go through it to understand this issue. www.emerald.com/insight/content/doi/10.1108/IJILT-05-2020-0089/full/html?skipTracking=true&TrendMD&M300_and_PC_Report_TrendMD_0&WT.mc_id=Emerald_TrendMD_0

      if you want to see the impact of one variable on another u can use regression analysis. I have included my other video related to model development below for you to look over.

    if the hypothesis is directional, would the sig of anova need to be halved to calculate the real significance level?

      Kindly elaborate your query. I have not seen any research talking about such kind of analysis in which there is a need to have the significant value.

    • @adilzia

      Could you look at my other video for model development to get clarification regarding the multiple IV? The regression analysis remains the same but u have to use the mediator analysis to see the impact of a mediator.

    I have one question on my analysis I got beta value 0.026 which is positive but sig value is 0.672 which is above 0.1 . should i accept the hypothesis ?

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  2 года назад +1

      Actually speaking it depends upon the language of ur hypothesis. If the values are insignificant we usually say there is no impact of x on y. So if ur hypothesis says that there is a significant impact or relationship of x and y and the values u got are insignificant we reject the hypothesis.
