It's a Fantastique from me. I accepted that this isn't anything groundbreaking, and that it has a certain familiarity, but it's in the style that I love, and it's been put together really well in my opinion. I would have been more than happy for it to continue for another 2 or 3 minutes. Can't wait for the album. February is looking really exciting 😁🤘
I respect your opinion the song might not he loved by everyone. For me i love the song. Maybe the rest of the album will have more of a certain style. I think they wanted to capture the audience with their most catchy song first. I'm excited for the album anyway and I'm a simple man so i usually enjoy basic songs a lot more then others.What's your opinion on the new avantasia song i personally enjoyed, when some others didn't, I enjoy the later edguy albums so that's probably why I enjoy the song so much.
Haha, I didn't care for the Avantasia song either. I'm really glad you enjoyed both! Even though I wasn't a big fan of either I'm definitely still excited for the albums!!!
Interesting thoughts... I actually enjoyed the song. My excpectaions also were high and I wouldn't say that they were surpassed but also not not surpassed. I like the tempo, the chorus, the verses, the solo and the symphonic elements. The singers are also good. Yes, there aren't any tempo switches and the song doesn't invent anything new but the whole package is just good. Maybe, I feel so positive about this song because of the bad single by Avantasia or the whole bad year (imo). However, I have to appreciate the great bridge (I love the melodie) and the big final with the changed hook. And the scream at the end is beautiful. Voli should sing more often very high. His "normal" high voice isn't absolutly fantastic but when he sings very high, he sounds better! But Tomi Fooler, I think, said that the album will be more operatic and neoclassical, so I am absolutly hyped! I mean THE Daniele mazza is involed!!
Truly an all-star ensemble. I agree, Daniele Mazza is a legend. I'm definitely looking forward to the album. I really hope it utilizes all of the great talent to the fullest.

I agree with PMR...Chorus was very good but the song in general was just ok..Nothing to write home about!
