Looks lovely! So much to learn about Japanese fashion. I appreciate comments by The Barbie Witch. I will try not to worry so much about my sewing yukata. Thank you.
The cultural significance of left over right v. right over left is that right over left is only worn by the dead, i.e. funerary style. I think every gaijin on earth has made this mistake, been told by another gaijin who made this mistake and was politely corrected, had their moment of embarrassment, moved on, and then eventually told someone else. 😅 The yukata itself is lovely and I love the chinoiserie fabric that you used. I love watching your tutorials of the CJ patterns: they take the intimidation factor away. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for explaining this to me! It’s very interesting and I love learning about these cultural things! Now I know for next time! I’m glad you enjoy these videos I love making them. If you have any requests feel free to let me know!
I love it when you are so honest. The dress looks beautifully on her.

Very nice. Good that you explained the lack of cultural knowledge, and the reaction on that from one of your followers is good and respectfull 👍
