Oh My Girl is basically a supergroup. Ridiculous dance line, stellar vocalists, next-level performers, killer rapper, aegyo princesses, visual queens, and...my dude, variety may actually be their strongest skill. I recommend their Knowing Brothers appearances. Their Weekly Idol appearances are great too. Also, their Universe contents have been posted on RUclips. Oatlantis Kingdom is probably my favorite.
My ears tell me Oh My Girl is definitely the Best of all GG's killing voice. Their songs have so much character and their spectrum is so amazing. Their voices are also uniquely identifiable.
I would love so much to see you do a deep dive into their music, they have such a beautiful discography! They’re so underrated these days for how good they are (GFRIEND too! They’re probably my top 2 discographies in kpop)
Obviously as far as Killing Voice's go Mamamoo and BTOB are over here (*waving my hand up high*) but for the rest of them (at least the kpop ones) this one is hard to beat. Not here to start group wars but if you want to talk about vocal skill across THE ENTIRE group......not many groups can touch Oh My Girl . These are 7 (Jiho is still a part of OMG in my head) PROFESSIONAL singers who all sound great, know their voices to the millimeter, and know EXACTLY what to do with them.
The actual term (as said by them) is dream fairy (when you kept saying whimiscal). That is the sound early on that defined them....nobody did that concept better. The stretch of songs of Closer-Secret Garden-1 step, 2 step-Fifth season-Classified defines that sound and their concept for MUCH of their careers. Their other side is basically summer bops (the more fun-dance heavy tracks) like Nonstop-Dun Dun-Remember Me-etc Funny side note....when this group of 5 korean entertainers/comediennes did this spoof concept called Celeb Five that they made into a korean entertainment tv show about 5 older comediennes coming together to form a kpop girl group, their comeback track (they have like 5 tracks lol) was the "dream fairy" concept and in the show they actually brought OMG to teach them how to do that concept

I have a digned copy of GFRIEND's debut album. I'd trade it for any Oh My Girl album. OMG have been extremely solid from their second single up until today. While GFRIEND basically made the same song over and over, OMG and Red Velvet are the ones that have kept me in Kpop and will as long as they continue to release new stuff.

They’ve been killing it since their debut, not just with their vocals but also with their choreography and formations (the also lively in their reality show). I really love how experimental they are, and it is always working. The funny thing is how they arrange the track order in their EPs, especially in their full albums, like going from 'Underwater Love' to 'Vogue' and 'Checkmate,' lol

Oh My Girl is basically a supergroup. Ridiculous dance line, stellar vocalists, next-level performers, killer rapper, aegyo princesses, visual queens, and...my dude, variety may actually be their strongest skill.
I recommend their Knowing Brothers appearances. Their Weekly Idol appearances are great too. Also, their Universe contents have been posted on RUclips. Oatlantis Kingdom is probably my favorite.

My ears tell me Oh My Girl is definitely the Best of all GG's killing voice. Their songs have so much character and their spectrum is so amazing. Their voices are also uniquely identifiable.

Obviously as far as Killing Voice's go Mamamoo and BTOB are over here (*waving my hand up high*) but for the rest of them (at least the kpop ones) this one is hard to beat. Not here to start group wars but if you want to talk about vocal skill across THE ENTIRE group......not many groups can touch Oh My Girl . These are 7 (Jiho is still a part of OMG in my head) PROFESSIONAL singers who all sound great, know their voices to the millimeter, and know EXACTLY what to do with them.
The actual term (as said by them) is dream fairy (when you kept saying whimiscal). That is the sound early on that defined them....nobody did that concept better. The stretch of songs of Closer-Secret Garden-1 step, 2 step-Fifth season-Classified defines that sound and their concept for MUCH of their careers. Their other side is basically summer bops (the more fun-dance heavy tracks) like Nonstop-Dun Dun-Remember Me-etc

Yubin is definitely my favorite in Oh My Girl! She’s like the dark horse of the group but I noticed her right away haha
it still bothers me that Yubin is only labeled as a Sub-Vocalist. Her voice is so unique and rich.

Secret Garden's chorus is the definition of goosebumps, so it's understandable haha. Still might be my favorite of theirs.

I have a digned copy of GFRIEND's debut album. I'd trade it for any Oh My Girl album. OMG have been extremely solid from their second single up until today. While GFRIEND basically made the same song over and over, OMG and Red Velvet are the ones that have kept me in Kpop and will as long as they continue to release new stuff.

@@KpopPrince I'm not OP, but I'd say that "Dear Oh My Girl" is my favorite album, but it is a very COHESIVE mini so if you want to get a bit more variety you'd do better with "Remember Me" for a mini album or "Real Love" for a full album! :D

They’ve been killing it since their debut, not just with their vocals but also with their choreography and formations (the also lively in their reality show). I really love how experimental they are, and it is always working. The funny thing is how they arrange the track order in their EPs, especially in their full albums, like going from 'Underwater Love' to 'Vogue' and 'Checkmate,' lol

the Lovelyz song they covered was 'Destiny'. 'Secret Garden' is their song and the very first song that got them their first win (in fact, if that album didnt do well their CEO said he'd disband the group which is why that song is so special to them. They actually say as much here when introducing Secret Garden)......btw, the song that almost made you cry was Secret Garden lol. The title was just in korean (bimil jungwon)
